only remark was the toilets don’t have lock and it’s been difficult with kids to use .

Beds need new mattresses.
Paper thin walls, could hear people next door
Shower head needs descaling as shower weak.

Everything! The apartment was filthy.

There were stains all over the carpets, in several places they had come away from the gripper bars making them a tripping hazard.

Stains all over the walls throughout the apartment. The freezer was unusable due to it being frosted over with packed ice, you couldn't get the draws open. Inside kitchen drawers and cupboards all dirty. & the bin lid was disgusting. Glasses, cups & cutlery were grimy.

The sheets & duvet covers had not been washed, there were stains, hairs & bits of god knows what all over them, the sides of the divans were stained and a layer of muck in parts where the mattress didn't fully cover it. The pillowscases had not been washed and were also stained. One of them was crusty with what looked like was toothpaste that someone had drooled over it whilst asleep.

We tried contacting the numbers provided and messaging the owners on the evening when we discovered this. Nobody answered or replied.

We were unable to find alternative accommodation as everywhere was sold out so had no choice but to stay the night. We had to lay clothes on top of the bed and sleep on them so we didn't touch the filthy bedding & pillows. It was disgusting. Neither of us slept well as we were so upset about the situation. We managed to contact staff early the following morning and explained the place was filthy, she said she would get cleaners to come out but wouldn't say a time. My friend rang and asked her to come out and look at the apartments for herself but she said she was busy.

My friend & I didn't trust them to come out and do the clean, as this should have been done before our arrival! We couldn't bare the thought of staying in that filth another night so we made the decision to leave, we were absolutely devastated as we were unable to go to our function that we had driven over 3 hours to attend. We had to drive back home again as we could find alternative accommodation.

The bedding and the actual pillows/quilts and bed were badly stained, the bedding looked like it hadn’t been changed, also as we were ground floor 1 of the bedroom windows was right at a child’s nursery door so heard the buzzer/door opening and chatter from 7am onwards

You might be aware of these:

The shower door needs attention as it won't open and shut properly. The plug in the shower needs cleaning and was blocked with hair.
The tv played up after 5/10 mins on a channel, then would go funny.
The freezer needs to be defrosted and cleaned.
There were no teaspoons.
The carpet needs attention.

Main entry code to building and room were the same meaning other guests could open our room and one did

Freezer needed defrosting- couldn’t open the drawers, cooker light broken, couldn’t get the bathroom door to lock, could have done with an extra pillow each (only one provided per person), one of the beds you could really feel the springs.

Heating didn’t work. Therefore freezing when we went in the apartment. Shower was scalding , couldn’t have a shower. No double bed when we booked a double room and a twin room .
