A small and well-kept hotel in a good location with friendly and courteous staff.
Pros:

Location - Small hotel in a convenient location
Staff - Welcoming, friendly, helpful
Amenities - The complimentary tote and biscuits were a lovely touch. As was the towel art! Ample complimentary water.
Room - Good size, linen was clean and crisp.
Food and Beverage - Flock is an interesting space that deserves to be busier. Great coffee and nice breakfast. The mie ayam was excellent.
The home-made kombucha is very good too. All natural - no artificial additives.
The cocktail I had at Moon was excellent and the manager was helpful with food and drink recommendations.

Cons:

Lobby - Removing advertising signs for the spa from the small lobby would make it feel more spacious and appealing.
Room - The architecture in the bathroom is difficult. You have to stand in the shower and shut the door to access the toilet. Older guests may find this quite difficult with different floor levels. That said, the shower was good.
The pool is very public so nobody uses it. Over three days I didn't see anyone swimming so it is really just decorative. A shame after exploring Ubud and getting hot.
Roadworks meant shutters had to stay closed so the room was dark. (this is a temporary issue)

Ótima localização, bem central, a uma curta caminhada de distância de vários pontos importantes (Monkey Forest, The Yoga Barn); o quarto era super confortável; funcionários atenciosos e simpáticos; melhor spa e massagens que eu já frequentei.

Cons:

O wifi dentro do quarto era muito ruim.

Very close to sacred monkey Forrest, supermarket, and hundreds of restaurants and shops.

The cafe next door had amazing coffee and house made kombucha - you get 20% off there entire stay.
