Ducassi Suites Rooftop Pool Beach Club & Spa

If you’re looking for a hotel right in the center of everything and close to the beach, but not on the beach… This is the hotel for you! However, if you want a comfortable and cozy room with a nice hotel or resort like feel, don’t stay here. You can tell they rushed their renovations and there is a roach issue. Also, they didn’t have a blankets or extra linen. The view from the rooftop pool was also good. The cleaning ladies were not very friendly or helpful. I would never stay there again.

I had paid my stay during booking weeks in advance. When i got to the property at 6:30pm, i found its offices closed. Locals where trying to help me carry luggage which was very uncomfortable. I called number that was attached to the glass door & no answer. Security guard called an “attendant” and no answer. I was left wondering the streets with wife & luggages. Worst experienced ever. I had to pay a hostel $100 for overnight stay & no hot water but at least found somewhere to stay.

This property can not be named hotel.
The room is was dirty ,terrible smell all the dishes was sticky and un usable.
In a kitchen everything was rusty.
The air conditioning in place cold air pushed dirt and bed smells.
For seven nights ve got two towels only .
In a bathroom no hand towels and no hot water ,
I’m showering in a cold water
The noise end the laud music lets you fall in sleep after four a clock every night.
Definitely I can not recommended to nobody this place.
Just destroyed my vacation!!

Neve will I ever go back there. They do not advertise correctly. Everything in the pictures that’s advertised is false, they have roaches, no wash cloths, no blankets, no hot water, water smells like swear, the AC don’t work, they didn’t give us the room we paid for, the bed was very small.

The property is not as advertised. Dirty, light didn't work, tap water smells. Maintenance request wasn't fulfilled. But good location, close to beach.

Paint smell in the room, sliding glass door to the balcony was hella janky, water didn’t get hot, WiFi was extremely unreliable, BUGS. Definitely would not return

Would not recommend this hotel Ducassi. No hot water at any time during my stay. Shower leaked on floor every time. Vanity leaked water on entire bathroom floor. Rooftop pool area is ugly, uninviting, and chairs are terrible. Impossible to communicate with hotel prior to our stay. Take this one off your list Expedia!

THIS PLACE IS A SCAM. Was there for 5 minutes before leaving to stay somewhere else. It was absolutely disgusting, rude staff, no beach, no restaurants, no wifi, no hot water, no ac. DO NOT STAY HERE

I have been there for 6 days , the room service is not daily and they won’t provide you a towel every day . You have to go and ask them to get the towel. Over all it is not recommended to stay at this hotel ..

Unfortunately, my stay was disappointing. There were no towels or toilet paper upon arrival, and when I requested them, dirty towels were provided. The bed was uncomfortable, curved, and didn’t fit the frame properly. The noise level was unbearable, with thin walls that didn’t block any sound, making it difficult to sleep. Not as advertised...

I wouldn’t do that again.

The hotel is a scam. Do not stay here. Save your money and go somewhere better.

The biggest issue with this hotel is half the things on the listing are a lie and the photos barely resemble what you actually get. The listing states the hotel has "a private beach". It does not. The staff simply tell you to "wander down to the beach and buy a few drinks at the beach clubs of other hotels and (those other hotels) will probably let you stay". There were 2 pools, however one was green with algae and unusable the other was okay but small (on a rooftop) with no sun shade. There was no spa. The restaurants and bars are just ones that happen to be around the area, not ones exclusively for the hotel.

The rooms were cheap with heavily damaged furniture. The bed was listed as a queen. It was a double and a stained mattress from the what looked like the 1980s. There was a kitchen, but no kitchenware. The shower and sink faucets were all heavily rusted around the outsides of the metal pipes / faucets, and the water smelled like it was salty (likely causing the corrosion).

The doorhandle to our room was barely attached (missing crews) and not functioning correctly. The front desk sent a maintenance guy, who took a look, told us he would be back shortly, and never returned.

The breakfast was okay (and the only decent part of the whole experience).

Luckily we were only here for a night. I'd be devastated if I'd paid for a week in Punta Cana and ended up with such awful accomodation.

I have never seen anything so disgusting in my life I had to check in and out every i a matter of minutes I have pictures of this condition it’s wasn’t safe it’s a building that’s unkept horrible and how do I get my money back I had to go to another place Expedia take this off your website it’s a 0 star how can I get a refund for booking through Expedia please contact me dotnyc@hotmail.com thank you

The hotel it's not the nice as its shown in the advertising its Low class kinda like an motel that's worth about 40 dollars its a big deception it's a fraudulent you should take it out of your pages no hot water rusty water dispencers and everything it's cheap made (the building) please send someone to see it some from your company to stay there one night go as a normal guest the service it's not good either I feel betrayed a Lot of guest in there feel as I do

Ducassi has a lot of potential but nothing about it is modern. If you’re looking for a quick get away one or two days it’s fine just bring Lysol because everything appeared to be dirty
