Gorgeous hotel on a beautiful beach
Pros:

Stunning property, styling was simple & elegant throughout-our room, terrace & especially bathroom were large & stylish. Food was amazing-breakfast was made to order & we had dinner twice there & both times was fresh, delicious & reasonably priced. There were plentiful, comfortable sun loungers on the beach & staff brought cold, filtered water regularly.

Romantic luxury hotel in a quiet area with a lovely beach and pool.
Pros:

Room was great and met expectations. I had room 207 which was in the middle and gave an excellent view of the pool and beach. Breakfast was really nice, room service was efficient and tasty (although staff didnt know the menu and told me items were not on the menu, I had to send them a picture to show them). Didnt use the roof top bar but it looked like a good spot for sunset drinks and the same for the Japanese restaurant on the same level. Beach was clean and nice but not for surfing, which was further up towards Hikkaduwa. Quiet area but with not much around in the way of shopping etc but that was a three minute tuk tuk ride away, perfect for me. Pool was clean and refreshing.

Cons:

Usual Eastern Europeans going and reserving sun lounges before breakfast and not using them for hours on end. Very frustrating to not have one available and then watch a lonely towel and sunscreen sit there for a few hours while the selfish owner went on a day trip. For my two cents you need a clear policy stating towels will be removed and personal items placed in a basket for collection after 30 minutes of non use, and signage so there is equal access for all guests. It was peak season so may not be an issue at other times.

A slice of luxury on a beautiful beach with amazing food.

Beautiful decor, gorgeous beach, fabulous room large pool and brilliant restaurant. All the staff are lovely and very friendly and helpful.we had a really relaxing stay and enjoyed every minute.

Wir hatten eine unglaublich schöne und erholsame Zeit und hoffen mal wieder dort Urlaub machen zu können
Pros:

Das Personal ist außergewöhnlich freundlich und gastfreundlich. Wir hatten ein paar individuelle Wünsche auf die man ganz besonders gut eingegangen ist.
Die Küche im Main Restaurant hatte es uns sehr angetan. Die Karte ist abwechslungsreich, das Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr stimmig.

Great beach vacation!
Pros:

The location was excellent, the rooms were clean and comfortable! The beach was wonderful. It was a honeymoon and they gave us a cake.

Cons:

The waters can be a bit rough at certain tails of day. The room wasn't ready on arrival, they did give us complementary drinks and food while we waited but what we really wanted was to get changed and enjoy the beach.

Excellent and friendly, highly recommend!
Pros:

I don’t know where to start with this hotel - it was well and truly exceptional! The cleanliness, the service, the food, the facilities - everything was perfect. We were also lucky enough to meet the owner who made the effort to speak to all of the guests and make everyone feel so so welcome. He even gifted us some tea! The Japanese restaurant is 100% a must, possibly the best Japanese food I have ever had. I couldn’t recommend this hotel more if I tried!

Everything was just perfect. From the room to the facility, staff, surroundings, food and vibe. We stayed 3 nights for our honeymoon and we absolutely recommend it.
