What you see is what you get and there’s nothing pretentious about the place. Can’t find anything to grumble about.
The room was superb, and all very well presented. The girl at reception who checked us in was absolutely superb! She was well presented, spoke well, was very helpful and knowledgeable. She deserved to be commended and rewarded!
The shampoo/conditioner/body wash pump bottles as stuck on the wall in the shower were not clean. The wall behind the pumps were mouldy.

I wish I could say the same for the girl who checked us out. She was poorly presented and needs A LOT of training. When I handed my keys, she didn’t even look up from her monitor screen and simply asked mentioning my last name…no honourifics nor proper greetings. Then as she checked her screen, did not look up again and just said “ok, you are good to go”. That’s it! No thank you, no ‘did you enjoy your stay’ nor ‘have a great day’. Very robotic and quite rude! She is not a keeper….
Location
It’s a bit hard for my parents who can’t speak much English. With this level of hotel and money we spent, would expect at least Mandarin speaker staff could communicate during Chinese new year time, with price doubled for the room
