**Hotel Feedback – Aloft New Delhi Aerocity**

I am extremely dissatisfied with my recent experience at Aloft New Delhi Aerocity.

My booking was cancelled and I was promised a refund within 24–48 hours. This commitment has not been fulfilled, and there has been no proper update or follow-up from your team.

What is particularly frustrating is the rude behaviour of the staff and the poor quality of responses provided. The answers are vague, inconsistent, and keep changing with every interaction. Instead of resolving the issue, the communication only adds to the confusion and frustration. It appears that no one is taking responsibility or providing clear, accurate information.

There has been absolutely no sense of concern or ownership shown. I have had to repeatedly follow up myself, with no proactive communication from your side. This reflects a serious lack of professionalism and basic customer service standards.

Frankly, the conduct of your staff is disappointing and unacceptable. It feels as though there is a need to revisit fundamental hospitality principles that are typically taught during MBA or professional training programs.

A simple refund has turned into an unnecessarily stressful experience due to rude behaviour, poor communication, and lack of accountability.

I strongly urge the management to address this immediately, process my refund without further delay, and take corrective action to improve staff behaviour and service standards.

Overall, a very disappointing experience.

Pros:

The staff, atmosphere and food selection for breakfast were really good. Front desk staff were fast and efficient. In the room, we messed up and put the plug in the wrong socket, the engineer that helped us was really, really customer orientated as well as fast, knowledgeable and efficient. overall, this hotel was far beyond my espectation.

Worth it!
Pros:

The room nice and neat.. staff all are professional and very polite. From entrance till sending your luggage to room and housekeeping is great.. recommended.. just wishing if customers stay more then one nite should be offered free breakfast 😍

Avoid.
Pros:

Good location for airport
Not the only hotel in aerocity, thankfully.

Cons:

Staff not responsive to requests- despite booking ( and paying for) an extra bed had to ask staff x 4 times from check in to 11 pm. Reminding once - OK, 4 times?! Not acceptable.

No one watches TV these days, but it was stuck on the ‘we’re such a great hotel’ channel with a degraded image. Given the bed experience we didn’t bother to request for help.

Finally lost patience and had to have words with reception before bed appeared. Hate being a ‘Karen’ but being jet lagged and tired didn’t help.

They parrot out insincere and vacuous apologies ‘I understand this is frustrating’ and ignore the request, which feels worse and patronizing. Asked to speak to manager who didn’t contact.

Holiday Inn down the road where we usually stay is a much better experience.

If you book via booking.com they will not allow you to use any Marriott membership benefits or accrue points.
