Excellent location for the Bosphorous and the lively vibe around Karakoy. The hotel stay was made all the more special by the wonderful staff - including Yunus and Emir on the front desk. Great service - delivered with a smile - and a wonderful team of very helpful staff. Will definitely return.

No alcohol is served in the hotel. Our trash bin was broken we signaled it but it hasn't been replaced during our stay. These are minor issues, the hotel is fabulous.

My wife and I checked into The Wings Karaköy after our trip to Belgrade. This was actually our first trip to Turkey and Istanbul. We were deciding between The Peninsula, which is nearby, and this hotel. But the threefold price difference for a room with a view of the Bosphorus helped us make our choice, and we didn’t regret it.
We booked a room with a view of the Bosphorus and breakfast included. It was a truly spacious and comfortable room with amenities you don’t always find even in 5-star hotels. For example, the large bathroom had both a shower and a jacuzzi. As I mentioned earlier, the hotel is right on the waterfront, and the large windows overlook the water.
The room had everything we needed—Wi-Fi, a fully stocked minibar, free bottled water every day, tea, coffee, slippers and bathrobes, a TV, and air conditioning.
Breakfast is served on the rooftop with beautiful views. It’s not a buffet, but rather a choice of three options with the possibility of slight customization. Overall, the breakfasts are more than sufficient, filling, and delicious. We really enjoyed them.
The hotel is in a great location, but it’s in a pedestrian zone, so you’ll have to walk a bit from the taxi stand.
The hotel has wonderful and friendly staff. Aslan, Mustafa, and all their colleagues at the reception and in the restaurant did everything they could to ensure we enjoyed our stay and would want to come back again.
A vacation like this is well worth the price!

The taxi cannot reach the hotel entrance, which was a major inconvenience. I was travelling with my mother, who cannot walk long distances, so this created a real problem for us. Interestingly, the Peninsula Hotel next door allows cars to drop guests directly at the entrance, but our hotel does not.
The hotel also has no indoor lounge or sitting area. Other than our room, the only place to sit was the terrace, which is not air-conditioned and is in direct sunlight all day. It simply wasn’t an option for my mother to relax there.
The breakfast was extremely disappointing. The omelette tasted as though it had been cooked in old oil, the cheese was served on the same plate as the meat, leaving it smelling and tasting like dried meat, there was no proper selection of fresh fruit, and the overall quality was poor. Having breakfast on a hot, non-air-conditioned terrace in July ..made the experience even worse. Considering that Turkey is famous for its wonderful breakfasts, this was especially disappointing!.

We had a stunning view from room 302, the room was very modern and spacious, the staff was extremely helpful. Great location and near the ferry terminal.
A bit hard to access taxi as the hotel is on the waterfront where taxi’s can’t access, however the staff were very helpful in escorting us to the taxis it’s our luggage.
