We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Wings Hotel Karaköy. The hotel is beautifully and stylishly decorated, and our room was incredibly spacious and comfortable. The view from our room was honestly one of the highlights of the entire trip — absolutely breathtaking.
The breakfast was excellent with a great variety and everything was fresh and delicious. The rooftop breakfast area itself was like something out of a movie — truly picture-perfect. Overlooking the Bosphorus, with the boats passing by and the beautiful views across Istanbul, it created such a special atmosphere every morning.
The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help.
The location is perfect and could not have been more convenient. It is very centrally located near the Karaköy pier, the tram, Galata Bridge, Galata Tower, and countless restaurants and cafés, making it extremely easy to explore Istanbul from there.
The combination of comfort, atmosphere, views, and location made this a truly memorable stay, and we would happily return again.

We did not ate breakfast there in the morning, I prepaid with breakfast, the staff told us, if you want breakfast, you can pay for it everymorning, and the area for eating breakfast was tooooo smalll

Absolutely perfectly placed in the city by the harbor. Breakfast is a treat and the staff is out of this world friendly and serviceminded. Rooms are quite large, and the noise level absolutely acceptable. You can hear the ships a little bit, but only on a very low level. Cleanliness is great, and for a capital hotel this close to the water i find it is good value for the price. The reason why i do not give 5 stars is that the hotel seems a bit "used", and could use a bit of maintenance. Nothing major, just little things.
We loved it and can recommend it for sure.

Short version, stay here! The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are very nice. If you get a room with the view, you won’t be disappointed. The location is perfect if you are there for the usual sites and want some night life.
Long version. The rooms are spacious enough for the actual size. The room we had was third floor and overlooked the small square and the Bosphorus. Great view, only drawback was the noise. It was manageable but did go late. There is a mosque next door so when it’s their turn for call to prayer it’s a little loud. But that is part of the experience of coming to Istanbul. The staff was always welcoming and helpful. The rooftop lounge was open to the public. So, it was busy at times. The menu is limited but what they have is very good.
If you are going to Istanbul to see the usual sites (Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Bazaars, etc…) We felt this was the perfect location. There is a tram station about 3 min walk from the hotel. The T1 Tram takes you right into the old city. There are stops for the Mosques and Cistern (Sultanahmet), the Grand Bazaar (Beyazit) and many others. This is also very walkable. The ride from the hotel stop to Sultanahmet was about 4-5 min. If you are going north, the tram is also good to get out of heavy Karakoy traffic before getting on a bus. Galata tower is also very close. You can see it from the rooftop café. You can walk up, but it is very steep. The Tunel is across the road and will get you up the hill. In the evening there are lots of options for cafés and a few bars. Two of our favorites were the Wolf Irish Pub and Zulu Karakoy. Both a few minute walk from the hotel.
In our opinion, Karaköy, specifically this location was perfect for the first time visitor. You have easy access to all the popular landmarks. Tram, Metro, Ferry and Bus options to get you everywhere else.
