The location is superb, steps from times square, subway station on the corner & the port authority bus station is adjacent. Cleaning staff are very prompt & efficient
The lobby is so small, crowds gather really quickly, it gets really crowded around the elevators. Beds are small & not overly comfortable. Not much storage options in the room. Im also still waiting for my security deposit to be refunded 40 days after my stay
I want to start by acknowledging that Brandon, the manager, was polite and tried to mitigate some of the issues during my stay. However, despite his efforts, my overall experience was extremely disappointing — which is why I feel compelled to leave this detailed review.
I was originally due to check in on 31 January, but arrived a day early on 30 January as I wanted an extra night in New York City.
Within six hours of arriving, I raised my first complaint with the front desk.
Within 13 hours, I approached the duty manager requesting to check out early and receive a refund for the remaining nights. I was told the booking was non-refundable, and while I was welcome to leave, no refund would be issued.
After being told I would lose the money, I decided to stay and give the hotel the benefit of the doubt — unfortunately, the same issues persisted throughout my stay.
Issues experienced:
• Cleanliness & hygiene:
On my first night (Saturday), when I attempted to go to bed, I discovered the bedding sheets were visibly stained, raising serious concerns about cleanliness and hygiene. Photographic evidence has been provided with this review.
• Lift / elevator situation:
One lift was out of order for a significant period, while the remaining lifts were overwhelmed by non-resident visitors accessing the rooftop bar. As a paying hotel guest, I spent excessive time waiting just to access my room. This situation only improved during the final two days once the additional lift was repaired.
• Noise disturbance:
Loud music and significant noise from the upper levels were clearly audible inside my room, making it extremely difficult — and at times impossible — to rest or sleep. This is completely inappropriate for a hotel environment and defeats the purpose of booking accommodation.
• Staff presentation & morale:
Several staff members appeared disengaged and unhappy, which was noticeable throughout the hotel. Some were also seen wearing unclean clothing, which further added to concerns about overall standards.
• Safety concerns:
Rubbish was dumped in stairwells, creating a clear fire hazard.
• Unexpected extra charges:
There were multiple additional costs that were not clearly communicated in advance.

Staff were very welcoming, nice to chat to and very helpful. Hotel was clean and modern, it was close to everything you needed. Hotel had a lovely view.
Nothing really if I were to say one thing it would maybe the lifts being slow but that comes with every big hotel.
