Casa Faustina Boutique Hotel

First, for 500 USD a night, I would expected some hair conditioner and more than one small bar of soap to split between the sink and the shower. Second, every time a car went down the street, the room vibrated making it feel like a small tremor. Third, the hotel is not located in the center of town, it took us 20 minutes to walk to the Parque Central. However, my biggest WARNING/CAUTION/ADVERTENICA/TEM CUIDADO: THIS HOTEL IS NOT HONEST AND DOES NOT STAND BY THEIR WORD. The property granted me, in writing, to enter one night later, yet they still charged me to for three nights rather than two. When I complained they were rude and aggressive, despite my having written proof. See attached picture of my communication. I asked to enter on April 4th and leave, as had always been the case, on Monday, April 6th. They outright accused me of leaving one day early when I went to check out on April 6th. I NEVER ask to leave on April 7th, in fact, in the communication in the photo below, you can see I specifically reiterated that I would still be leaving on Monday morning, April 6th, as was the original reservation. All I asked was to enter one day later and according to this message, they made a one time exception and allowed me to enter on April 4th. THIS HOTEL DOESN'T STAND BY ITS WORD. I HAVE WRITTEN PROOF. YOU BE THE JUDGE. AND THEY WERE NEVER ONCE APOLOGETIC, ONLY RUDE.

Lindo todo el Spa me gustó mucho los jardines todo

Nos gustaría una mayor variedad en el desayuno que si bien es riquísimo y generoso podrían implementar una o dos opciones más a elección del huésped cuando esté incluído en el valor pues en estadías de más de dos días resulta aburrido comer todos los días lo mismo.

Ampliar también la variedad de ropa service

La gerente fue muy grosera y literalmente nos extendió la sábana del cuarto para preguntarnos por una mancha lo cual me pareció totalmente fuera de lugar.

No les gusta cambiar las toallas durante la estadía. Tienen un reglamento bastante ridículo.

Si van con niños ni pesarlo, no sobrevivirían a un accidente o a una travesura pues son minuciosos en cuanto a manchas en sus “blancos” cero capacidad de resolver problemas y atención al cliente.

Solo terminamos la estadía por que no nos devolvieron el dinero.

- there were ants.
- the listing on booking.com was wrong and stated the villa had two double beds and one king bed. it had two double beds and a queen bed. with much effort, we were moved to a room with two double beds and a king bed but it was not a villa and didn’t have a kitchen. we were not refunded for the down grade
- there was no hot water in the villa. we were told that it was normal, but when we were begged to moved to a new room, there was not water.
- we were told we “miss used the room” and they threatened to charge us an additional $100 for sweating in a pillow a normal amount. they embarrassingly said it was an astronomical amount of sweating that they have never seen before. they had to put the pillow in the sun for one hour, which doesn’t seem like a real problem.
- upon check in they told us breakfast was extra but it had been included in the booking.com reservation, causing us to not use the free meals we paid for.
- there was no spa, despite a door being labeled “spa”
- this is in no way a four star hotel

Quizás las opciones para desayuno.... no hay mucha variedad, pero tampoco estuvo mal

A bit out of the way but still accesible

Had to ask for the room to be cleaned - we asked on day 1 and assumed it would be on our second day but it wasn’t.

La atención no sé si es la dueña pero super fatal, pagamos $475.00 por noche, al menos esperas que Boutique sea Boutique, pero no, lo único rescatable es que es bonito y limpio pero no vale esa tarifa. El desayuno solo son frijoles, huevos, queso y café por esa tarifa te esperas algo mejor al menos.
