Great place to stay, friendly staff, great breakfast and easy location.
Pros:

The Florance is a beautiful building located opposite the park, it is a close walk to everything and great restaurants. The breakfast was fabulous, we really couldn't fault anything.

A most enjoyable stay in a warm, stylish and accommodating venue which is close to the city centre.
Pros:

Breakfast was very good but the same every day. More variety would be good. The electric blanket was a good feature. Furnishings and aesthetic elements were terrific. The house itself is magnificent and the location is excellent. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Cons:

No cupboard space in the room.

Wonderful! The Florance is just beautiful - exceptionally comfortable and perfectly located.
Pros:

This charming property has been beautifully renovated and makes for perfect accommodation when visiting Launceston. Comfortable and clean with wonderful facilities. Great location, just a short walk into city centre, and opposite the stunning City Park. Host Kate was lovely and staff incredibly attentive - a beautiful breakfast in the Conservatory a special touch.

Pros:

We had a fantastic stay at The Florance! The guest house is beautiful, exceptionally clean, and incredibly comfortable. Its great location made it the perfect base for our visit. We enjoyed a wonderful night's sleep, followed by a delicious breakfast served with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The staff made us feel so well looked after from start to finish. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would 100% recommend staying at The Florance. We look forward to returning!

Comfortable classic and homely!
Pros:

The house was kept in the old school charm style but still ensure modern comfort. Personalised service at breakfast was lovely and beautifully simple.

Cons:

Maybe a choice of breakfast options. Eg scrambled eggs as well as boiled. By the third morning a change would have been needed.

Wonderful historic building beautifully appointed with a delicious breakfast
Pros:

The hotel is small and located in a very historic building. Our room was beautifully appointed. The breakfast was lovely, much more than I expected and the staff were helpful about nearby attractions. I learned a lot from them and the many guide books they had scattered around.

Cons:

I had some trouble getting into the building - but maybe that was my own incompetence with the relevant technology. We were let in by other guests who were in the common room when we got there

Comfortable, just different!
Pros:

The communal breakfast was great, always sat on the long central table and enjoyed the company of fellow guests. The breakfast was simple and delicious. The staff were wonderful and very accommodating.

Cons:

Was a little surprised by the size of the bathroom. Although it was spotlessly clean, we are used to having a more spacious area. This is the first time we have stayed in a guest house, so didn't really know what to expect. In the end, we left happy traveler's.
