De uitstraling van een oud Konuk huis was prachtig. Ook de kamer was gewoon mooi. Ruimtelijk gezien was het wat behelpen maar dat was de moeite waard.
Ook de ontvangst, de mensen in de bediening het was gewoon in een woord geweldig.

L'hotel si trova in posizione strategica per interrompere il viaggio verso la Cappadocia. La camera è grande, arredata con gusto. La colazione è varia e abbondante. All'interno della struttura c'è anche una caffetteria con piatti di buona qualità.

Hébergement absolument authentique avec restaurant excellent. L'odeur des boiseries anciennes, le plancher qui craque, les portes qui grincent... on adore.

Jolly room in authentic, traditional ottoman estate.

The receptionist is not always present, but the staff of the adjoint restaurant seems to replace him well.

This hotel is a great base for exploring this small city, full of surprises, and the wider area including Konya and Antioch in Psidia. Hotel staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. We arrived very late because the bus from Antalya broke down and the staff really looked after us. They had lots of local knowledge which they shared with us to make our stay really enjoyable. The rooms were small but comfortable and above all warm. The beds were comfortable, the shower was excellent, the blind was very effective and the room was effectively sound proofed so we slept really well. Breakfast was excellent. Lots of homemade food that really set you up for the day. We ate there one evening and that food was also excellent. This hotel represents very good vale for money. Aksehir is a wonderful place to explore in itself, a delightfully friendly town with a lot of history to explore and day trips to Konya and Antioch in Psidia are easy to arrange from the nearby bus company ticket offices.

We had a lovely stay, excellent breakfast, and a helpful welcoming host!

My only pause is that the photos shown on the listing are actually of the inner courtyard of the hotel rather than it's exterior entrance. I think they probably did this intentionally because the neighborhood is a bit time-worn, and when we arrived, the disparity between what we expected to see from the listing photos and the building itself gave us the uneasy feeling that we'd arrived at the wrong place, or that something fishy was afoot.

That said, the building is an elegant, timber-frame work of art with 12 foot ceilings, a lovely courtyard, and an excellent restaurant and we would stay there again with out any hesitation!
