Mixed ambivalences in a hotel, which could be better
Pros:

The Auberge is in a very nice place, in the middle of the nature. The building itself is very old, built in the XVIII. Century.
The room was spacious, well equipped - except AC, which is the consequence of the age of the building.
Very interesting objects are nearby, the remains of a line of defense from the age of World War II, against the German troops, when Switzerland felt the risk of an offensiva from France.

Cons:

Even the service of the breakfast is interesting - coming on a tray in front of the door of room - but the quality is questionable. On the other hand we asked the breakfast by 8 o'clock, but the breakfast arrived at 7 o'clock on the second morning after a powerful push of the ringbell.
Lack of air condition is unpleasant, but the intensive noise of the restaurant at evening time is more unpleasant.
The personnel was somehow neutral.

Beautiful place, we'll be back!
Pros:

A wonderful place to stay with children: No need to think about dinner, as there's a restaurant downstairs (closed on Sundays), a nice, non-crowded beach within walking distance, breakfast in the rooms, beautiful forests nearby to explore. I did a morning run along the river down to the lake, it was incredibly beautiful!

Cons:

Our room (it was July) got really hot and didn't cool down until 1am. There was a fan, which made it manageable, but I wouldn't recommend to stay at this hotel/in this room in summer if you're sensitive to heat.

Moins bien qu’en février
Pros:

Nous sommes déjà venus en février et nous aimons d’la terrasse devant la chambre

Cons:

Il n’y a pas de climatisation et un pauvre ventilateur peu efficace
Nous avons été envahis le premier soir par une dizaine de mouches …
Le bruit de la route fenêtre ouverte que nous n’avions pas remarqué en février..
Le fait de ne jamais voir personne est pratique à l’arrivée mais ne donne pas l’impression d’être entourés comme dans les hôtels

Die Lage der Unterkunft ist super. Ein paar Leute vom Personal waren bemüht englisch zu sprechen.

Cons:

Was für uns absolut nicht ging: wir sind abends angekommen und dachten wir können uns innere Pizzeria setzen. Wir wurden abgewiesen, da wir nicht reserviert hatten. Als Gast der Unterkunft geht das gar nicht.
Wenn es richtig heiß ist, hilft auch kein Ventilator im Zimmer. Vllt mal über Klimageräte nachdenken.
