De sfeer, aardige gastheer, mooie kamer

We were traveling in Braga for a family wedding, and since we were flying out of Porto I wanted a place that we could relax on our last night. I looked for someplace that was unique and had some special feel about it. When I read the description of the interior space and saw photos I thought this might be the place! It exceeded expectations, a unique architectural guest house, lovely interior, the lounge was just stunning, and I felt it a special place to be. So convenient to the Porto Market just across the street.. and at the same time the lounge and the rooms were so quiet... and peaceful. It was the very best place to stay I thought for us. We were helped so very much by the staff, especially Soraia and Carla, who were gracious and attentive. There was a lovely breakfast, and such a wam welcome when we arrived, a glass of port and some cake as we waited to check in. IT is true that one should be aware of the steps inside the guest house, and so it is good to know if one has mobility issues it would not work, but that is explained in all the literature.. However I am 80 years old and it was fine for me!!! and Soraia and Carla, handled our suitcases with ease.. certainly a statement about how strong women can be! I was impressed. The rooms are beautiful, the hallways and stairs.. lovely to look at.. My only regret was that we only had one night! Thanks to all the staff.

Het enige wat moeilijk is het toekomen met de auto.. een betalende parking en het sleuren met de zware bagage van de parking tot het hotel en dan de hoge trap naar boven... Het hotel zelf - de kamer - het personeel en ontbijt was verder zeer goed.. mooie zitplaats voor het ontbijt met mooie muziek..

Location was excellent. Everything was on the doorstep. Lovely big comfortable room and super clean bathroom. And hosts were fantastic. So helpful.

Top Lage, sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personla. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

A great stay in a prime location. The hotel staff were super friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Cesar on reception was fantastic in helping us plan and see the sights, he gave us a great insight and overview to the city and also we took 2 of the tours he recommended which were highlights of the trip. Lilian and Carla at breakfast were very nice and more than happy to go out of their way when we asked for extras from the breakfast menu. Highly recommend staying at this place for exploring the city on foot.

The hotel is in a fantastic location directly opposite the Bolhao Market. Our room was a good size with everything we needed and the lounge was a beautiful bonus to be able to relax

However it is the staff here who really are the stars. From organising our late check in and transfer from the airport, to leaving us port and homemade cake on our arrival, to offering advice on what to see and where to eat, Cesar in particular was so helpful - nothing was too much trouble. We were made to feel so welcome that we have already recommended this hotel to friends who are wanting to visit this beautiful city.

If you don't mind the walk-up, and we didn't, the small property is charming. It's right across from the Bolhao Market, and while the area is touristy, it's quiet and easy. A short walk to the Trinidade metro. Nice breakfast.

Perfect location to get around and see Porto. Room very comfortable and had two armchairs to relax in after day exploring. With kettle to make a cuppa and relax in the chairs. Breakfast was ok.

Localizado num edifício que guarda as características das construções antigas deixa o local charmoso, além de muito bem decorado. Apesar do acesso ser somente por escadas, o hotel conta com um elevador de malas que facilita muito. Local limpo, toalhas e lençóis de qualidade.
Soraia e Liliana fazem delícias portuguesas para o café da manhã e são extremamente gentis e atenciosas.

En general todo, desde el hotel en sí hasta el trato del personal que nos atendió desde el primer momento. En recepción nos invitaron a una copa de vino y bizcocho, delicioso todo, y la chica se paró a indicarnos los puntos destacados para visitar dada la corta estancia, priorizando en todo momento en lo que estábamos más interesados en ver.
Por la mañana, el desayuno bueno y bastante variado, Soraia y Eliana nos atendieron muy bien. Nos facilitaron en todo momento la estancia.

The hotel was very nice and in great location to easily explore Porto. All the staff were friendly and helpful especially Lillian and Carla. The breakfast was well done with some homemade items included. Overall, our experience was very positive and we would recommend.

Central location. Small number of rooms. Tasteful decor and above all delightful staff.
