Hotel Mont Vallon Meribel

I would advice any visitor who have back issues to stay away from this property since the beds are pretty precarious. Our bed was very soft and bounce and the mattress springs could be felt in your body and face when laying down.
Everuthing else is as spected. Great location for ski in-out.

The images on orbitz does not do it service. The Lobby quite spacious, rooms spacious by European standards, the dining is superb, 3 restaurants in hotel with large patio service, superb profession service, and the chef preparations for dinner exquisite, gymn, pool, sauna etc. Staff very friendly and professional, would return. & best of all SKI IN/SKI OUT !!! For us skiers. Magical vacation for my wife & I.

Amazing stay!!!

The evening food was wonderful - lots of local cheeses and lovely menu items. Breakfast was also excellent. The staff were all very polite and attentive. Perfect for the lifts and slopes if you’re skiing.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location was very central and it was ski in/ski out.

Fabulous location with direct access to Plattieres, Pas du Lac and Combes ski lifts. Staff all amazing. And don’t miss the walk around the lake Tueda and forests - literally 5 minute walk from the hotel.

Wonferful hotel in a great location just a few feet from the slopes and lifts of Méribel Mottaret. The food was excellent. The staff were amazing and extremely friendly. A special mention to Marion and Max at the bar for being amazing. They are a credit to a top class establishment.

Great hotel. Five star food, service, cleanliness, location. Cosy, nice atmosphere, good bar.
Been to many places in the Zappa and this was probably the best. It looks dated but this just makes it authentic and genuinly charming.
Only negatives would the the 1980’s multi gym! And the showerin the room was poor. Great overall.

The fee includes half board but we could not have dinner as there were no tables available in the two restaurants. The child was left hungry.

Stayed for 4 days and could not have been made to feel more welcome, the valet, reception, bar and restaurant staff were all amazing.
Beds were comfy, view was great, shower was hot with good water pressure, wifi was great and the chicken fingers and fries from the bar were delicious. Massage was lovely and although the pool was a little chilly on entry it was refreshing and had a great view

A true ski-in ski-out. The hotel has a rustic charm about it, and the service was good. It has a lovely lounge area with a fire place, nice pool, sauna and steam room. It does not have a hot tub though.

Note that it's located in Meribel Mottaret which sits higher than Meribel Centre (a quick 10 minute free bus ride away). Very easy to get to the other resorts like Val Torens.

We loved the location of the hotel, however we found the hotel to be rather tired and not really befitting a 4 star property. The staff on the whole were super helpful and friendly, but the gym was not good and as one of our party was a non skier, this was a deal breaker, they had really looked forward to a decent gym. Sadly we also had problems with the internet which was frustrating.

Brilliant location ski in and out , nice comfortable room mountain view one are the best food was good nice breakfast and casual dining in the evening, loads of good restaurants within 200m also

The front desk was amazing

Positive = location close to the lift, staff
Negative = too hot inside the room and impossible to set the temperature, old bathroom, no water bottle, no coffee machine, no water boiler in room... not acceptable for a 4* hotel !

Very nice and helpful staff.

It eas very close to the lifts. A genuine ski in, ski out.
While the wi-fi was always functional, signing in every time you moved around the premises, was a bit tedious. ( First World Problem! 😀)

Needs an update for a 4 star. Heating is too high. Only 2 plugs in room. No plugs close to bed.
