Pros:

The staff at the Hotel was excellent, especially Christian who was always ready to assist in an extermely courteous and professional manner, in whatever situation. He is a solution finder!!

We will not return
Pros:

We arrived after 6pm as this hotel was 15km from the center of Sofia, were told that food came from a takeaway minimum price including delivery for 2 was 20lv when we came to pay it was 40lv. The shower was dirty and there was a door missing.

Very awful
Pros:

My worst hotel experience in my life. The hotel address was totally incorrect from the hotels.com site.
The hotel stuffs was a tongue-tied guy, who was not understandable even from half meter distance.
The room environment is a disgusting, cheap plastic. The hotel is at a dirty, bad street. Very awful!

Pleasant and spotless
Pros:

The hotel was spotless and comfortable, the rooms were cleaned daily with clean towels. The indoor spa was lovely and warm, the outdoor pool was very disappointing, it was filthy and full of debris, given September is just out of season, the weather was still warm and an outdoor pool would have been welcomed, that was one of the reasons we booked that hotel.
There were English channels on the TV and wifi, however, wifi wasn't great in the rooms. The staff did not speak English, they were friendly enough.
Continental breakfast could have been better, dry bread, tomatoes, jam, meat and some morning boiled eggs wasn't sufficient seeing the hotel was a bus ride or 15 minutes walk to a nearest shop.
The location of the hotel requires transport.
The price was very competitive, we would not return to this hotel, as we do not plan on visiting Bankya again. However, it was a pleasant stay and ideal for an overnight stay if travelling.
