Aeroplane noise but not unexpected.

- Infestation of silverfish seen in the bathroom (including in the toilet roll!) and on the bedroom chair. God knows where else.
- Booked 'small double' assuming this was the room size. No. The bed was so small, not even big enough for 2 pillows side by side. Not suitable for 2 adults.
- Body wash and shampoo provided, but no hand soap for washing hands.
- Window would not open.
- Only saw staff as we arrived, never in the morning. So could not relay our concerns.
- Husband asked for 2nd key card so he could pop out for a vape and I could have the electric in the room. Was advised the key card not needed for electric. He went out and after 30 seconds I was left in the dark until he came back.
- We could not use the kettle as it was full of crusty limescale.
- Door to corridor not fire complaint. Half an inch gap right across the bottom which would allow fire or smoke in (not to mention the light at night!)
- I don't want to think what the crispy dirt on the TV remote is!

I could go on...but you get the Gist.

Cheap, but not cheerful. No frills is fine, but this was rotten. Great location, though. So a real shame.

Bad quality mattress, too hot in the room, no air conditioning, couldn't open the window because it was on the ground floor and not secure enough because of it

Check-In durch Manager war nicht angenehm. Hat uns Vorwürfe gemacht, dass wir ein Kleinkind dabeihaben, aber ich hatte dies bei Booking.com angegeben. Da wir getrennt unterwegs sein würden und ich erst gegen Mitternacht wieder da sein würde, bat ich um eine 2.Schlüsselkarte für das Zimmer. Jedoch lehnte der Manager ab mit der Begründung, es gebe hier grundsätzlich nur eine Schlüsselkarte pro Zimmer. Sehr unhöflich, da das Programmieren sicherlich kein so großer Aufwand wäre.
Außerdem gab er uns ein Zimmer mit Fenstern zum Müllplatz. Es stank leider bereits beim Reinkommen ins Zimmer und es war heiß. Deshalb baten wir um ein anderes Zimmer. Dieses Mal war eine Kollegin an der Rezeption. Sie schickte mich zurück auf das Zimmer mit der Aufforderung dort zu warten bis der Manager zu uns käme. Wir warteten über eine Stunde und nichts ist passiert. Dann ging ich noch einmal zur Rezeption und da saß wieder der Manager und wunderte sich über mein Anliegen. Dann gab er uns ein anderes Zimmer. Dort war zwar kein Müllgestank aber es war extrem heiß und die Fenster waren defekt. Man konnte sie nicht gut öffnen aber auch nicht verschließen. Im Erdgeschoss quasi eine Einladung für Einbrecher.
Außerdem ist ist das ganze Haus extrem hellhörig. Man hört jeden Schritt, jede Tür, alles.
Der einzige Lichtblick war das Frühstückspersonal. Sehr freundlich, sowohl der ältere Herr als auch der Koch.
Ich würde trotzdem nicht noch einmal hier übernachten.
