The bar didn't have any lager on draught left , and this was a Saturday night , so I got a Guinness instead and it wasn't very good

Superb. Would happily stay again.
Pros:

The Hotel was warm and welcoming. The young woman that checked me in was very friendly, patient and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. No complaints whatsoever.

Cons:

The holding fee I paid on arrival was a little unnecessary.... I would have been happier if I was given the option of a holding fee rather than adding this to the initial price I paid for the room.

Comfortable and pleasant stay
Pros:

Excellent location, the hotel itself is very tastefully decorated with little odes to the cities past. Room was great nice and quiet with great bathroom with big head shower and bed was comfy

Cons:

Parking was an issue and I ended up with a ticket parking on the street use the council care park down the street 10 quid for 10 hours worked for me

Pros:

I loved the decor, especially the lighting in the hallways and rooms.

Cons:

While the room number display is an innovative, backlit design they were a little dazzling to look at to try and find my room.
