Comfortable.
Pros:

Breakfast was good, though not as much choice as when I stayed at same hotel 2 or 3 years back.
Bar drinks expensive.

Nice rooms

Cons:

-Nobody took really care of the breakfast. E.g empty of bread, fruit, cold cuts, etc.

-Message from room cleaning staff that they run out of TOILET paper?? And therefore got a box of tissue as substitute.

-At time of check in, several light bulbs busted and one lamp damaged. Nobody check room after each guest? This could have been discovered by room cleaner.

-At checkout, they claimed that we had unpaid bills from the Bar. We did not by anything from bar and put on room bill. After some arguing this was cancelled.

Lovely rooms, well equipped, clean
Pros:

Lovely room suitable for myself and children. Quiet, well equipped and clean. Brilliant having a coffee machine and mini fridge in the room.

Cons:

Reception sent us to a room with a double bed and fold out single when I had paid for 2 doubles. We were moved after complaining but this added another 30 minutes to check in so something reception staff should really check before check in.

Room was very hot and couldn’t turn down on thermostat, luckily was able to open the window.

More a comment than a negative - I appreciate the menu looks beautiful but wasn’t suitable for vegan/allergies. Nothing on the childrens menu that didn’t have milk or eggs. Tomato pasta could be made vegan? Something to consider for future menu discussions as we would have loved to have dined in

Cons:

Booked (and paid for) room for my daughter as transport cancelled due to road closures.

She arrived and was refused room until
She paid a £50 deposit which won’t be returned for a week. Appalling, never in my life have I had that staying in hotels.

Comfort, great location and a wonderful restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Friendly helpful team.
Pros:

All aspects of my stay met my expectations as I have stayed at this hotel before and was not disappointed this time. I was welcomed and greeted by friendly team members and my room was clean, comfortable and very well appointed. A lovely stay as always.

Nice hotel for a night.
Pros:

Hotel lobby is very nicely decorated. Late check out amazing. Beds are very comfy.

Cons:

Decor is tired in the rooms. I've stayed before and this time there was small things missing.
The restaurant is extremely expensive.

was a good stay for one night
Pros:

it was good hotel not far from anything. was disappointed with breakfast though wasn’t enough staff on taken ages to bring out the food. only one girl on doing the front and trying to get food out and to see to everyone needs not fare at all. there wasn’t any pancakes kids were wanting pancakes. the room were fine and clean. there wasn’t much parking though for amount of guest u would have in the place

Excellent value.
Pros:

Comfortable room, good heating. Good breakfast. Excellent value.

Cons:

Lighting very dim: we needed head torches to make coffee in the daytime. No Netflix on the TV. We left a note asking the room maid to top up the body lotion dispenser, but this didn't happen
