Gorgeous but got a bad room with bed bugs

I really love everything about the Herntai. We arrived late because we got lost on the way there. Warning - when GPS to Herntai, remember to make sure it is the right Herntai, as there is another destination called Herntai farm which is 100 km away.

The manager was super friendly. I called in advance to let him know about late check in at 9pm, as they close the front desk at 7pm, and he ordered some food for us that were ready upon arrival.

We booked a 3 BR cottage, and the last one available as we checked in late that night.

We booked through hotels.com and he wasn't able to locate the reservation but accommodated us anyway.

The property was beautiful to walk around and lounge around at night among fresh air and stars. By the way, dinner is a must - delicious and best in the area.

Unfortunately we discovered the next morning that we got bitten by bed bugs. We walked around the property and it is absolutely peaceful and gorgeous. I looked at different properties and they looked a lot better and cleaner, so we chalked it up to getting a bad room
