Great balcony looking down onto alley full of restaurants
Pros:

Occasional was great and had a great balcony in the alleyway, reception lady was very friendly and helpful

Cons:

Being the old town, everything in the building is so old. They did their best with the bed etc.

Pros:

Good location in old town and close to the drop point for the Ha Giang Loop. Bed was very soft but also a good memory foam and i sank into it and slept like a baby. AC was good while it worked (until power cut). Great communication from the owner. Staff were kind and no issues at all from them.

Cons:

Unfortunately there was a power cut which was not the hotels fault. I felt it was more of a homestay than a hotel which is fine but the property was priced like a hotel. The water wasn't super strong pressure. Overall fine but a little overpriced given the options in the area.

Great Location - value for money
Pros:

The standout was definitely the comfort of the bed—super cosy and exactly what you want after a long day exploring Hanoi. The location is also excellent, making it easy to get around and see the main sights. The owner was friendly and genuinely helpful, which always makes a stay more enjoyable. A small but very appreciated detail: the shower has a proper screen, so the bathroom doesn’t end up flooded (if you know, you know).

Cons:

On the downside, there’s no lift, which could be a challenge if you have heavy luggage or mobility concerns. Also, some rooms don’t have windows, so it’s worth making sure you book one that does if that matters to you.

One thing that did leave a sour note was the check-in experience. We arrived early and were told our room was ready at noon, but we couldn’t check in until 2pm unless we paid an extra fee. Having worked in hotels for over 30 years, this was surprising and not something I’ve encountered before.

Pros:

Die Lage des Hotels war zentral im Old Quarter.

Cons:

Die Unterkunft hatte Schimmel im Treppenhaus. Das Bad hat sich nicht im Zimmer befunden. Die Zimmer waren sehr hellhörig, haben modrig gerochen und das Bettlaken war dreckig. Der Eingangsbereich des Hotels war mit Möbeln zugestellt, es war sehr chaotisch.

Great location, good vibes.
Pros:

Lovely and helpful staff and hotel owner.
The hotel owner keep updated us, assisted and keep in touch with us before and during the stay.
So many shops and dobby nearby too.

Cons:

Overall okay, the only thing is there is no lift to go upstairs 😅..But its no big problem..

Pros:

Loved this hotel! The staff were incredibly welcoming, the room was spotless, and the bed was super comfortable. The location made getting around easy. Would highly recommend and would happily return.

Cons:

Only negative aspect of this hotel is absence of lift. Had to walk the stairs till 4th floor everytime. But got help with my suitcases from hotel staff.

Great location and room
Pros:

Friendly staff, clean room, central location in old quarter. Got upgrade from staff to the top floor which had a nice view (but be prepared as there is no elevator)!
