Sorry to say this as a great location, and fairly clean, but apart from being cheap, the other reviews about this hotel are true. Real shame as this place could be really good!

Cons:

Place looks really tired and worn, so many maintenance issues that need addressing. But it was really cheap (as the old saying goes, you get what you pay for)

Disgusting filth hole, that needs to be closed
Pros:

The only thing good about this awful place, is the location. This place is the dirtiest most disgusting place I've ever stayed in the UK. My room was literally falling apart and the sheer filth on the walls, the furniture, the floor and bathroom was truly terrible. The bed was so stained I didn't sleep in it, as the stains were so bad. I slept like a dog on top of the bed with one of my own towels over it to protect me from what ever was on in the covers. The bath was smashed and held together by duct tape, stains and residue left on the bath as not cleaned properly, all metal inside the bathroom like the rack they left a toilet roll on and a soap dispenser were all rusty and covered in grime, the walls were covered in marks and stains and had just been over painted repeatedly. The smells all around the place were awful, there was mould that was just covered up and bot treated. There were signs everywhere saying "no noise!" And "family run business, no noise" on every single door and wall around the place yet, "the family" made so much noise all the time. At least 3 rooms i passed absolutely reeked of drugs! And you could smell it in the always. Simply put, if you want the filthiest, bug ridden place to stay, where you won't get any peace or be able to relax and worry about leaving your things in the room when you're out because, the locks are so poor......... Then this place is for you! This awful crap hole needs to have an inspection because, it would fail and be closed until sorted. It says online that the "new family" bought the place in 2024 and has huge renovations to improve it since.......... where!!? It is appalling!! If it's current condition is after massive renovations, I would.have hated to see it before.

Not some were I’d stay again really needs a lot of work done and cleaning is a must
Pros:

The property was very dirty things broke even the mirror was rusted the shower you had to run for 15 min to get water toothpaste pipe up on floor off previous people furniture stained and broke to didn’t work windows you could hardly see out of through dirt windows wouldn’t shut

Such comfortable beds and lovely staff
Pros:

This hotel was lovely. We stayed in room 20. The beds were super comfortable and the room was spacious.

Cons:

The only down side is that it is a bit far out up the top of the prom, so if you don't drive you'll need to take a tram.

I wont be back staying at this hotel
Pros:

Location was fine but a bit further out than expected only thing I liked was the bed.

Cons:

Cobwebs on the celling, toilet was clean but had mold around the shower the floorboards creaking, lack of plug sockets, the walls could with a coat of paint and new carpet in the hallway. I only saw the staff once on Friday Afternoon.
