Very clean very welcoming people and guests next the sea front great for fishing
That we left a day earlier than planned due to the absolute disgusting room and staff. They can barely understand English which made it very hard to put our issues across to them with a good outcome. DONT STAY HERE (unless you don't mind a hostel at hotel prices) Paid our deposit on booking.com but still bad to pay an extra £20 on arrival and another £10 incase we made a stain on the sheets! Although given the state of the room is this £30 classed as a donation!? 0 out of 10!!!

Was on third floor and iv got mobility issues so struggled
The shower took 10mins to heat up
Was red stains on bathroom floor and partner tried to see what it was and it looked like blood
It looked like someone had been sick down the cupboard in bedroom
The towels had stains on and iv come out in a rash on face
You had to get up to turn tv off cause the remote wasn’t working that well
Worse hotel we’ve stayed wont be staying again
The price of my stay represented very good value for money. The hotel is in the North Shore, so it's still close to the main attractions, but far enough away from the town centre, to make it fairly quiet as well. The hotel is also on the Promenade, and very close to the beach as well. The room itself was very well set up, it had a very comfortable bed, an en-suite shower room, a TV, a bedside cabinet, a chair, and a very handy shelf, which contained the tea making facilities as well.
There was some noise from other rooms, but it wasn't very loud really, and it only happened now and again during my stay anyway.

Was absolutely horrendous. Went in, went to room, then had to leave and arrange somewhere else to stay.
The women on the desk was rather cockey and said why has it taken you this long to decide to leave, well that's because we had to find somewhere else to stay.
Honestly the little standard rooms are horrendous can't speak for other rooms.
I can't express how angry I were at the state of this hotel. Even for a cheapish price it was horrendous like they hadn't done any work on the rooms just change the sheets apart from this time as had park hadn't even slept there. Was there an hour ish tops.
Nothing. Dated, cold and dirty.
Upon arrival we were checked in promptly, and headed to our room. What a disappointment. Immediately notified the broken window in the room which meant the temperature was freezing. There was a dirty spoon for the drinks facilities that I had to get swapped (with no apology given). The room has suffered from damp issues and seems like it had been painted over and not treated properly. Within ten minutes of being in the room, I was calling other places to stay as this was very poor. After securing alternative accommodation, we left and told the reception that we weee checking out, and not one eye was batted. If you want a cold and miserable hotel, this is up there in the top ten. Avoid.

The shower didn’t work and woke up with bites over our bodies as if sleeping with bugs all night one of the plug sockets hanging of the wall by the bathroom door which is very dangerous
Great room for our family exceeding expectations for the price paid would book again
Tackling the person smoking weed sooner as the smell was all on our landing then coming into our room
The bed was very comfortable. Very hot water for a shower and bath.
First night (26th July 2025) myself and my boyfriend were woken up at 5am to a couple arguing. Not only arguing but screaming at each other. It went on for hours and hours.
The walls are very thin. 27th July 2025 we got back to the hotel and clearly heard someone having sex. 28th July 2025 we woke up to someone clearly being sick from the night before. That's not what you want to hear when you are leaving for breakfast. It's not the hotel or owners fault but all in all we didn't have very good mornings.
