The hotel is has an excellent location, the building is spotless, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Staff is amazing, we are totally coming back.
There was nothing we didn’t love about this hotel!
- Friendly people.
There were many issues:
- First, I stayed here already one year ago. When I checked out the receptionist did not want to give me a receipt for the day and said that Booking.com would provide it. After lengthy discussion, finally they gave me an invoice.
- Second: I stayed here one year later, and the same issue happened. I’m not quite sure why you always have to fight with the Hilton Hotels, to get an invoice when you book with Booking.com. Yet when you have a discussion with them miraculously they can provide one.
- Third: cleanliness: this is for sure one of the better hotels in South Bend, yet the room cleanliness is not on par with top chains. Bathroom, dust on the tv and the lights next to the bed: improvements are needed.
Great location with access to shopping and dining. Well appointed room, but starting to show wear on the upholstery. Sleeper bed required a change of linens due to a nasty stain on the mattress pad. Housekeeping was not attentive during our three night stay. Breakfast staff was fabulous!
This hotel has become extremely expensive--up to $1,000/night--but its services aren't great. I booked rooms for a conference and had to deal with no end of errors. My entire credit card number, for instance, was listed as someone's name, which took me two calls to fix, and check-in for all my guests was a mess. I had to call the front desk 2 more times to deal with it. I won't be staying there again.
We had absolutely zero issues with this hotel. All the staff was extremely friendly and very welcoming
Nothing. We loved everything
We had a great experience! Rachel at the front desk was amazing to work with even after we needed to make multiple changes. She was very kind, patient, and accommodating which started our experience off pleasantly. Our positive experience continued with clean rooms, great accommodations, great location with lots of nearby dining, and friendly staff around every corner. If you’re staying in this area, this is the place to be.
Breakfast was good. Location was great.
One of the best parts about breakfast (and the cocktail hour) is that it allowed the guests to see and to interact with each other. So the guests became familiar with each other (and many of the other guests were pleasant and friendly).
I realize why parking is a challenge on a college campus - but parking is kind of sketch.
