Plum Point Lodge

Room were clean and cute. Beautiful views of the lake. Great location for visiting local wineries and breweries. Would definitely stay again.

Heater not working.

A wonderful stay at Plum Point Lodge. My room was not big but it was clean and well appointed. Everything was in good order and the hotel overall is beautiful. Loved the vibe and the people were very friendly. Only issue was Hotels.com telling me i booked one room, and when i arrived, i was not able to get in. The front desk clerk told me 3rd party booking sites always send the wrong room number. So he helped me find the right room and all was good. Just a small wrinkle.

Wonderful helpful front desk and restaurant staff. The chef , Dennis was great - gave us advice on wineries, places around the lake for lunch. Unfortunately the pool was closed for the season but the fire pit was great. Live jazz Music on the patio was a treat

This is a very relaxing place to enjoy for the weekend. The owners are right on the property and are very attentive! Good views of the lake from the dock!

This property was in a great location. Away from the main highway. Directly on the water. The rooms were client and comfortable. I loved the chairs outside the front door to overlook the property and the water. The location is so quiet and peaceful. Only complaints would be that you can definitely hear the people above you if you are staying on the bottom floor. I would have loved a coffee pot in the room. I did find out on my last day there that there was coffee and muffins in the dining area in the morning. We hope to come back soon!

Staying in a yurt was really cool, all the comforts of a hotel room but like camping outdoors. Recommend trying a yurt.

Check in and check out were the easiest I have ever experienced. We stayed in a Yurt and it was clean, spacious and well maintained. If you want to camp but not camp then give it a try.

My boyfriend and I have stayed in the yurts a few times and we love it. It’s quiet, right on the lake. The cell reception is minimal (which is a nice break for the both of us) we absolutely love it here. It’s a short drive to penn yan for coffee or shopping or ice cream. Neither of us are drinkers but if you like wine, there are also several wineries nearby. Overall this is a great little getaway that we will keep coming back to.

We spent 3 nights here and ate at Sapalta twice. Every staff member we met made us feel welcome and provided excellent service. The food at Sapalta was excellent and our room was clean and comfortable. We will be coming back!!

We were a group of 15, with 9 rooms, we stayed in the hotel/lodge rooms, not one of the six yurts they also have on property. The rooms are very well maintained, clean and comfy. We all had views of Seneca Lake.

Being right on the lake, we had an opportunity to enjoy sitting on the dock and in the evenings, around the fire pit. The on-site restaurant, Sepalta, is excellent.

Unfortunately, we had one rather large issue, which was no fault of the lodge, a sewage blockade in the morning that affected about 7 total rooms, but management dealt with it and had the issue fixed when we returned. I can’t imagine how stressful this must have been for them!!

This is great for couples, a friends getaway, or perhaps a small family. We stayed there for the very serene and peaceful atmosphere, so I was glad there weren’t a bunch of kids running around; it could ruin the peacefulness of the location. They have an outdoor pool, fine dining restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating, many additional chairs around the property and on the dock.

I highly recommend for a relaxing time, the very good food, the sunrise and sunset, and the great location midway on the west side of Seneca Lake.

Our third time staying at Plum point. Love the facility, great location and also very quiet. The lake is beautiful!
