I’ve received phone call 4 pm on the day of checked in and was told, we will close 6 pm so what time are you checking in and i said 7 pm. They said will leave door unlocked and key will be on the top of table. When i get there door was unlocked and key was on the table but rubbish everywhere 4 medium garbage bags full of garbage sitting next to kitchen and beds were like dog’s cage, linen and blankets were used and was on the floor not even on the bed. We rang and explained them, they gave us another room in town but there wasn’t microwave small room we paid for two rooms and ended up getting 1 small room.

Very helpful personnel. Early issue of heating cabin quickly resolved. Otherwise, Very good.

Loved to sit outside our villa in the sunshine and look out onto the golf course. Friendly staff who made our stay enjoyable.

What a hidden gem, lovely cabins, a great golf course, very friendly staff & members made us feel we were at our own club, we will be back for a longer stay.

What a wonderful place to stay . You dont need to be a golfer to appreciate the serenity living on the course provides. The accommodation was modern, clean and tastefully decorated. Beds were comfortable and two bathrooms were clean. Yes two bathrooms. A fantastic stay. There is a lovely pool on site and we also took advantage of the BBQ area undercover. Great place to stay. Enjoy looking out at the big old trees and the lushness of the greens.

Booked a ensuite site, fantastic.
Towels , toiletries etc supplied in ensuite.
We stayed 4 nights, had the towels replaced on 2nd night.

I booked a 2 bedroom suite back in March.  The room I booked was accompanied with photos of modern units with great furnishings. I selected to stay here purely on the quality of the rooms that were pictured.
When I checked in late last week, I was shocked to see we actually only got a 2 bedroom cabin of the type you would expect to see at a caravan park. Now, I will say that the cabin was clean, however, it is not what I booked... at the time I booked, the room type I selected clearly had pictures of the modern apartments.
Reading through some of the other reviews, it seems that there are a few other people that were stung by this misleading advertising.  I notice on hotels.com now that the photos for the room type I booked seem to have been removed.  It appears this issue must have been called out and then rectified either by hotels.com or the management of the Barham Golf Resort. Either way, if this was corrected, they should have contacted everyone that booked that room type to explain that the images displayed for their room type did not apply and you will get something at a lower quality. If I was notified of this or at least saw photos of the quality of the cabin I actually got, I would have had time to cancel and source alternative accommodation.
I contacted resort who were apologetic but claimed no one else has ever had that problem which goes against some of the other reviews here. Their offer of a comp night at a later date was nice but is useless to me. :(

We Weren’t very close to the neighboring units which was great

Big thanks to the Customer Service team, especially to Hope for helping us get set up very late at night. We can't thank her enough for the service provided and explaining an issue with our booking.
Regarding the cabins, they're comfortable though in need of a refresh. The surroundings are fantastic for lazy afternoons enjoying views to the golf course.
The resort is about 5 minutes drive to the town - the pubs are lively, especially the Barham Services club.
Overall happy with the resort and would def come back.

Lovely modern spacious apartment very comfortable. Full kitchen was great for self catering. Was lovely to sit on verandah with a glass of wine and watch the wallabies at play. TV reception was patchy. Ex ellent value for money.

Obviously the cabin we were given was due for demolition, confirmed by management after our stay. Assuming the new units built are of good quality, your stay should be fine. Check though, do not accept what they call the cabin/flat. It’s a dump.

Had a wonderful stay, golf course lovely and green, peaceful, quiet, great pool and bbq area , lovely meal at RSL club, people in town very friendly, great place for a quiet relaxing break.

Basic accommodation but in nice surrounds. More attention to maintenance and provision of other facilities being that its a golf resort would be good. No laundry or drying racks.

A comfortable setup in the family 2 bedroom suite. Easy checking in at the Club's Proshop. Quite spacious with easy parking. Take your own food/drinks as kitchen was handy. The double bed was on the hard side but for a short stay overnight OK. A walk around this course is enjoyable in the late arvo.
