I stayed here on Dec 22nd and 23rd, I took a room for us couple and my son (paid 3rd member in room) I had booked online through Radisson site and also tried to redeem points.
Firstly I learnt that Radisson Points work differently, you have to pay almost 80% and only rest is adjusted. Secondly the amount of reward points deducted and rupees adjust was different as shown on site and at the reception. Broadly the reception told me only 850 Rupees per day could be redeemed not more.
I have been staying at Radisson Hotels since over a decade but this experience was pathetic. Firstly I do not know why it is a 5 Star, there are no facilities other than a cold pool (not heated).
The staff had not read the instructions I gave at the time of booking and I had to repeat on arrival. Room Service wasn't as professional - there was no soap no moisturizer I had to ask for it. The kettle was leaking and i had to ask to replace. They forgot to keep the laundry bag.
In the dinner, I ordered chow mien and some vegetable in hot garlic sauce , it was something else with bland flavour definitely not hot garlic sauce. Ruined our dinner. They were kind enough not to charge me for the same.
Breakfast had decent spread, most things were fine, chola was not great though rest were fine, The servings staff was generally prompt. However the staff is untrained - the serving staff was untrained, could not serve or even understand. Would speak in HIndi if you requested in English, which is fine. They offered a 10% discount on dinner which I am sure they would have added.
The entrance in slip road - main road was being paved with tiles so it was at this time bad as it was difficult to take your car out. The next day we decided to eat outside.
Reception was also not trained and could not respond to questions. They couldnt explain me the bill and i gave up.
Overall untrained staff, some average some not great food, not the same experience as other Radisson Hotels.
Five stars on the board. Zero windows in the room.
This hotel proudly wears a 5-star badge, yet put me in a room without a window or a hint of natural sunlight. That’s not luxury—that’s architectural gaslighting.
You can polish the marble, train the staff, and spray expensive fragrances, but you can’t call a concrete box a premium experience. Waking up disoriented, unsure whether it’s morning or night, is not what anyone pays a 5-star price for.
If this is “luxury,” then transparency clearly isn’t part of the package. Windowless rooms should be disclosed loudly, not discovered silently after check-in.
A reminder: stars are earned through experiences, not certificates framed at reception.

It was my second stay in the hotel really appreciate the effort given by the staff I would personally like to appreciat Mr Sachin from the FNB department even though my colleague was sick and we couldn't come down for buffet he personally came to our room to take the order small gesture like this really matters alot I couldn't Stop myself from appreciating him Keep up the good work

Perfect and spacious rooms alhave Radisson Chandigarh i came hwre for attending a wedding event the event was great the food was spectacular and the decoration is also nice the staff is also amazing ajd alws have a smiling face i had dinner at restaurant sachin and his team were fabulous they took great care of us.
