I ticked that I am booking on behalf of my guests on the website. However, the staff at the property insisted that my guest produce identification of me (the person who booked), despite have all the necessary documents to proof their stay (booking ID, proof of payment).

Location is good depending on the meetings you may have in Sha Alam area. It is tru that walking distance food choices is not great, but in 10-15' car drive you have plenty of choices. Its a quiet area as well.
Breakfast was a bit basic for westerners. Fresh fruit was not very tasty, and juice is powder made.
Had a great experience with Mercure Hotels for our event. Ms Azura was very kind, helpful, and very efficient in assisting with the event arrangements. The environment was comfortable and pleasant, and the team gave fast responses to any enquiries. The buffet was also delicious with good food selection. Overall, very satisfied with the service and hospitality provided.
