The Pier was ideal for our 4 night stay to explore Southsea, Old Portsmouth and Navel Dockyard.
Pros:

Cooked breakfast was nice.
Room size was good.
Location was excellent.

Cons:

More varied breakfast options would have been better.
Room would have been better with hanging space with coat hangers.
Up to date tourist leaflets, maps and bus routes/timetables would have been useful.

Very accommodating in all aspects, clean and comfortable room, easy location for the beach and city!
Pros:

Great location not far from Southsea Common. The staff were so friendly and even helped me get a parking space upon arrival! The breakfasts were also very good.

Great place for a good night’s sleep and fab breakfast!
Pros:

Lovely and quiet location, walking distance to Old Portsmouth. Rahul is a very welcoming, friendly and attentive host, who replied quickly to queries. The hotel is spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, the bedroom was warm and the bed very comfortable. We booked breakfast, which was delicious and great value. He kindly gave us a parking permit for the street outside. We will definitely return!

The breakfast was exceptional, fresh and well presented, the room was warm, clean and cosy, the location was near to where we wanted to be.

Pros:

The staff was extremely helpful and the full English breakfast was excellent.
It was a quick 20 minute walk to the Royal Navy museum and the hotel provided a parking permit that allowed us to park right by the hotel.

Great, old fashioned in a classy way traditional seaside boarding house/hotel. Lovely owners and staff. Very flexible, would definitely stay again.

Location perfect for the beach and all attractions.
Just a short walk to Gunwharf Keys and the Dockyard to see HMS VIctory.
Full English breakfast was very nice.
Room lovely, nice comfy bed.
Given a parking permit, which was nice.
