What a lovely weekend break, Rahul and his mum couldn't do enough for us, so welcoming 😊, the room was perfect and the bed was comfy, next time we visit we shall definitely have the breakfast, we crammed so much into a full day, Historic docks, Southsea hovercraft over to the IOW. All of these attractions are basically on the doorstep, no need to use the car, parking is free courtesy of the guest house.
We will definitely return, thank you again for a great stay....

Location was great 7 min walk to Southsea pier and hovercraft terminal.A small fan was provided in room.Bed was co.fortable.
A permit was provided for free street parking.
On arrival owners father greeted us and my husband stated he was worried about traffic noise but then we weren't reassured that traffic died down at night an d shown the double room we had booked but ended up in a tiny room at top of house on the hottest day in Portsmouth ever.Even though we are senior we weren't offered ice , another fan or even a sheet to sleep under.
We couldnot eat breakfast after being soaked in sweat all night and left feeling really ill.
After first night we asked for double room but it had been already taken.
Difficulty talking to owners father even though very friendly as reeked of cigarette smoke and I am asthmatic.

Room was very loud and stuffy. It was too noisy to keep any windows open and no air-conditioning. Just a fan. Room was poorly supplied. Shower and toilet where in a plastic stall arrangement which required a step up into it. So awkward/dangerous at night.
Breakfast for a fee was only 1 choice or no choice. Not even a choice of bread.
The B & B is located on a busy multi lane street with a bus stop across the street too.
The hosts are marvellous, friendly and helpful. Location is great for strolling around the harbor. Paveen makes a wonderful English breakfast. Try her Indian breakfast as well.
I would prefer a shorter bed to make space to the wall. Watch the step down from the bathroom!
