Superb stay at novotel
Pros:

Breakfast was good! Best variety! Staff are polite and well trained, very helpful. Tea was great! Location superb!

Cons:

I do not like the slightly transparent bathroom and no-lock bathroom door. Room temperature is also a bit warm

Definely Highly Recommended!
Pros:

Breakfast was absolutely the highlight of our stay! The spread was impressive — with a wide and diverse variety of options that catered to different tastes. Whether you're into local flavors or international dishes, there's something for everyone. We never left the table hungry!
The welcome tea was a lovely touch that instantly made us feel at home — honestly one of the best we've had!
A special mention goes to the staff — they were exceptionally helpful and always went out of their way to make sure guests felt welcome and attended to. They even helped us in booking taxis and they are helpful in every way. Their warm service truly made a difference.
The location is also a huge plus — very strategic and conveniently close to a mall, making it easy to shop, dine, or explore without having to travel far.
Overall, a wonderful experience and we'd definitely recommend it! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Cons:

The only minor drawbacks during our stay were a couple of hiccups that are worth mentioning.
The aircon was broken and the room temperature was a bit on the warm side, which made it slightly uncomfortable esp when sleeping. It would be great if the cooling system could be improved or given more control to guests.
We also encountered a small issue with our booking — our initial reservation wasn't reflected in their system upon check-in, which required us to re-book on the spot and cancel the previous one. It was a bit of an inconvenience, especially after a long trip.
That said, the staff handled everything with grace and professionalism, and aside from these minor concerns, the overall experience was still exceptional and well worth it!

Buen hotel business pero lejos del centro de Shanghai
Pros:

Buen hotel business. Habitación amplia y desayuno variado con varias opciones occidentales. Muy limpio. Cerca del aeropuerto Hongqiao y de la estación de tren Hongqiao. Centro comercial muy grande al lado con varias opciones de restaurantes.

Cons:

Lejos del centro de Shanghai. Parada de metro más cercana a unos 15min andando. Staff no habla inglés.
