Sleep Inn & Suites Galveston Island

Breakfast is nonexistent. Both rooms that they checked me into were dirty. I checked out early due to the unsanitary conditions.

Room was very clean but the water pressure lacked a lot and it was barely lukewarm

No the parking was not secure. Several vehicles was broken into

Was ok but not what I expected for price I was paying

Laundry was clean, plenty off parking. We missed the free breakfast cut off was at 9:00, they should extend it to at least 10am.

My room was full of mildew, walls lamp shades phone just to mention some places and the toilet not working

This was good enough for what I wanted. I just needed somewhere to sleep for the night and it was fine. Breakfast left a lot to be desired. Staff was friendly. It was clean enough. No bed bugs seen. Not enough luggage carts and since I am disabled that was an issue It’s not somewhere I want to stay for more than a night maybe 2 but good for just an overnight stay. While I was there the vending machines did not work. Hopefully that has been fixed

There was a musty smell throughout hotel starting at lobby at checkin. Rooms were no better. Room was not very clean. Dust was all over, and had to remove the top comforter bc it was stained. Breakfast was cold cereal and coffee.

Cruise parking.

Area was convenient getting cruise ship and shopping for last minute items. Rooms were not cleaned good. Bed seemed ok. Had shaved hair in bathroom sink later discovered sink did not drain. Another couples tub did not drain. The hot breakfast advertised was not. Waffle was the only hot item and they were not clean. A gallon of milk was sat out for your cereal or to drink. Paid $150! Stayed at Holiday Inn across road last time 100% better.

It was dirty....sink was backed up and they didnt nothing. Last year i stayed here it was nice clean this time i was embarrassed i booked it. Plus no breakfast at all. I stay there often for cruises but i wont again.

The only good thing I have to say is the mattress was comfortable. The staff who checked us in was only partially understandable. Our room was badly worn and moldy. The shower rod was broken and I just felt dirty being there. The breakfast was waffles cereal and a few pastries. The next day I tried to voice my displeasure to management and was told to leave it all on here.. I would not recommend this hotel.

Room was fine but spent $239 and had no water couldn’t show and had to brush my teeth with bottled water

Booked this hotel for one night before our cruise. I almost opted to stay in my car instead…
First off, the room was so humid and wet when we entered the room. We had to turn the AC down low to counter act the humidity. The bed was wet. Like I sat down and it felt like I was on a wet blanket straight out of the washer.
The room was just old and you can tell they have no climate control. The outlets, lamps, lamp shades, all were rusted.
The bathroom had missing paint all up the wall and missing trim.
The room was uncomfortable to sit in. It smelt like mildew and I was very uncomfortable.
My fiancé had to continue to remind me that it was just for one night.
I will not stay at this hotel or one like it again!

The room was outdated. The tv was going out. The breakfast choices were very limited. The bed was hard. The pillows were flat. The price per night was expensive.

Room was missing comforter. We had to go ask for one

Dinning area chairs was turned over during breakfast there was missing hooks in bathroom to hang clothes and towels. Shower had no niche to place shampoos etc

This property is in desperate need of updating in the rooms. All the fixtures and doors are rusty. Carpets were dirty. Fridge smelled awful. Comforters did not have a duvet cover, just a white top sheet, covering the top. Meaning everyone sleeping in the bed was in direct contact with comforter. I went to front desk for an extra sheet set to cover the comforter so it didn’t touch me. Stayed here several years ago and it’s gone downhill for sure.

Staff was nice but our room was humid and had a weird mildew smell. Also ants all over our AC unit
