Cons:

SO you pay on booking .com after they give you a price, and when you arrive they will charge an extra fee
and call it a convenience fee. It almost seems like false advertising no mention of this fee in booking .com.
you won't get the room without coughing up the extra money, seems almost like a scam...
This has never happened with any other booking..

Leaving, It was a terrible experience. I checked in and checked back out within a half hour. The room was disgusting, dirt all over the room, peeling paint, pictures upside down, dirty bathroom. Large black spots on the bed and what appeared to be large reddish brown blood like stains on the lamp shade and underside of the bed. Staff did not care one bit. DO NOT STAY HERE. A cardboard box would be better quality.

Staff did not care one bit and I have called over 8 times to talk to a manager or owner and have been given an endless runaround and they somehow dont know when they work on the schedule next or I always just missed them even tho I called before and after both times they've told me to call. Not to mention that the pool is located in another building which is annoying during winter but doesnt matter and they charge a hidden ammenities fee when you arrive. DO NOT STAY HERE. A cardboard box would be better quality.

Pros:

We were able to be moved on-site to a double-bed from a single-bed room with a small surcharge, which was great. Location is also very convenient and easy to access within Gorham though do not expect to access much by foot in winter.

Cons:

Real rate diverged from rate listed on Booking, building and room layout is awkward (ended up in a room with virtually no natural light), cleanliness is merely okay, and the breakfast is symbolic at best.

Pros:

Size of the room for 2 with hiking gear, plenty of space to share, bed was comfortable...coffee was great! Breakfast the following morning before we went on day 2 of hiking was perfect ! Look forward to staying again soon.

Pictures below of what to expect. Overall disappointing. Stained bedding, dirty floors, cracked shower handle. The hot tub and pool were filthy. Sauna freezing cold and no gym to be seen like the one in the pictures. Front desk charged an $8 per night “cleaning fee” upon arrival after I had already booked and paid in full online. Bottom line this place is shady and not worth staying at. Much better options in the area

Room was dated, but clean. Breakfast was OK.

Cons:

The room had a weird smell upon entering. Bathtub took a bit to drain. The hot tub looked nasty - film floating over entire top of water. Pool water was cloudy. No showers available to use before getting in. No pool towels available.
