Tidy property, Nice staff, handy to Disneyland Shanghai. Great pillows on the bed. Good sleeping options for families.

**🇬🇧 English Review**

We stayed at the Meliá Parkside in Shanghai and overall had a good experience, especially for visiting Disney. The location is very convenient — it’s just a 10-minute walk to Shanghai Disneyland, basically across the street. From reception, they even take you by golf cart right to the hotel entrance, stopping just in front of the pedestrian crossing, which is a nice touch.

The hotel promotes itself as a Spanish brand — which it is — but there’s very little actual Spanish food available. At breakfast, you’ll find chorizo and churros, but honestly, they don’t resemble what you’d expect in Spain. The churros come without chocolate and taste quite different, and the chorizo isn’t comparable either. That said, the breakfast is still decent overall, with a good variety of options.

Dinner options for Western food are limited: mainly burgers, salmon (which was very good), lamb (a bit tough), and frozen fries — oddly always served with ketchup.

The rooms are spacious and clean, and the air conditioning works well, though they do feel a bit dark.

Despite a few shortcomings, we would definitely stay here again if returning to Disney because of the location and overall comfort.

Nos alojamos en el Meliá Parkside de Shanghái y en general la experiencia fue buena, sobre todo si vas a visitar Disney. La ubicación es muy cómoda — está a solo 10 minutos andando de Shanghai Disneyland, prácticamente cruzando la calle. Además, desde recepción te llevan en un carrito de golf hasta la puerta del hotel, justo delante del paso de peatones, lo cual es un detalle muy práctico.

El hotel se anuncia como español — y la marca lo es — pero en realidad no hay casi comida española. En el desayuno hay chorizo y churros, pero no se parecen en nada a los de España. Los churros no tienen chocolate y el sabor es bastante distinto, y el chorizo tampoco tiene mucho que ver. Aun así, el desayuno está bien y hay bastante variedad.

Very close to Disneyland, very clean and comfortable room

Hotel molto bello e nuovo vicinissimo a Shanghai Disneyland, 10 minuti a piedi e dall ingresso dell' albergo con un golf cart si può essere accompagnati fino alla strada principale.
Camera molto elegante e spaziosa con spazio all esterno. Bottigliette d acqua in omaggio, ogni giorno. Consigliatissimo per visitare il parco!

We had an amazing stay at this hotel! The suite was absolutely beautiful, with a stunning bathroom and very comfortable bedding. The breakfast was also great, with plenty of options. The location is perfect — just a 10-minute walk (max) from the Disney park. Overall, a fantastic experience!

I came from another hotel which I couldn't even spend the night in, I booked into this hotel and it was so comftable everything was a relief. The food was really nice and the room was amazing

Had a wonderful one-night stay at Meliá Shanghai Parkside! It’s a fantastic option if you’re looking to save a bit while visiting Shanghai Disney Resort—just about a 10-minute walk away, which made everything super convenient.

To top it off, I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a family room, which was such a lovely touch. Great value, great location, and great service - would definitely stay again! ❤️
