Noise. The old house creaks and groans. I was in room 210 and I could hear my neighbor scratching his balls. If I have to spell it out, you basically cannot move or someone in the other room could hear you. The house rules say that between 10PM and 8AM you needed to be silent. But on the other hand they give you the password for the front door for when you see fit to leave the premise after hours. "For if your drunk and need to get back in." Needless to say, people used the password and I woke up at 10h30 PM, 1AM and around 3AM. I'm not resentful of these people for just moving around and exercising their basic freedom. I am resentful of the reviews on this app not highlighting this issue. This place doesn't deserve the average rating it got. You book a hotel room so you can sleep safely when you're tired away from home. The rest of what they offer is extra. The onus is on the personnel to safeguard that basic need. They fail at that, so you cannot give them a grade above 5/10 which I would consider a passing grade. Would only stay here if there was no one else staying in the hotel or the house rules were actually enforced.

A little noisy with random noise but nothing consistent- old building. Staff were helpful but could maybe do with an extra pair of hands.

You can hear absolutely everything from the room above. Installing carpets rather than hard flooring would help this. I was woken up very early by the room above - I could hear them loudly walking around, showering and even sneezing from 6am onwards.
The mattress was lumpy and uncomfortable sadly, I feel as though it was quite old and needed replacing.
The bed also had no plug beside it meaning my phone and laptop had to be charged across the room but also the ‘bedside’ lamp was across the room.
The coffee mug in the room was tiny so had to have two cups of coffee to make one regular sized in the morning.

I didn’t pay extra for breakfast, £12 seemed steep when there’s a Gail’s bakery around the corner!

Soy celíaca y me hubiera gustado tener alguna opción dulce sin gluten en el desayuno.

Couldn't check in sooner or check out later which limits plans and timings.

Rooms were ok but missing some basics like for example closets or somewhere to put your clothes on, no hangers for towels in the bathroom. Cleaning services could be better inside the room but also in the common areas.

Could have done with a wardrobe in the room to hang clothes etc
