The Bristol Hotel

My husband and I were in Bristol for a long weekend to celebrate our "grand dtr's" baby shower. We are older than most and have always appreciated the kindness shown to us by the staff. We have stayed here before since our dtr lives here and we like to visit when possisble. After the event, we gathered on the roof top for cool, adult beverages - a great way to end the weekend with family.

The location was perfect. It’s within walking distance to the old downtown area with a lot of restaurants and shops, and it’s not on a busy road.

The atmosphere is modern, clean and quiet.

The room was clean and had a lot of amenities. I did share some improvement suggestions for the suite I stayed in but they aren’t deal breakers worth noting here.

The value of the hotel is in the location, level of customer service and in the great restaurant. Get the ricotta pancakes!

I would stay here again.

Great hotel in Bristol! It is within walking distance of several restaurants and a short drive for fly fishing.
Vivian’s Table is very good and service is excellent. We had an awesome bartender at the rooftop bar and really enjoyed our stay!

Precious boutique hotel in a fantastic location. We were there for show at Paramount, and hotel was within walking distance to venue, food, bars and shopping. Room was really nice, great quality bedding and extremely clean. Hotel itself was quiet, and amenities were a nice addition. Everyone we encountered provided excellent service and communication was easy peasy. Great price for our stay compared to other "chain" hotels in the area. Would definitely stay again!

The Bristol Hotel is an oasis in Bristol TN/VA! Beautiful, comfortable, great food, great location, great price. What’s not to love. We came for show at Paramount, equally good, and stayed here. Service was personal and professional as well. We would clearly stay again!

This was our first time at The Bristol Hotel in Bristol, VA but it definitely will not be our last! When we arrived to our king room it was extremely clean, bright and inviting. The linens on the bed were soft and luxurious, the bed was very comfortable, not too soft or too hard. Even the pillows were comfortable, which is hard to find. The bathroom was very nice with a rain shower head with a handheld. Shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel were provided and very nice, although we could have used more shower gel. Overall, it was just a lovely stay and clean, clean, clean! We will definitely go back!

Staff were great, friendly, welcoming and very helpful. Location is great, onsite restaurant Vivian’s Table is excellent and if you’re looking for variety you are within an easy walk to multiple restaurants on State Street too. Their rooftop bar, Lumac has the best views.

This little hotel in the small but musically important little town of Bristol, VA, far exceeds the great reviews it rightfully receives. They know they are off the beaten track, so the staff is all-in: They are personable and attentive and delightful. The rooms are comfy and well-appointed, the rooftop bar is lovely and has good food and drink. Breakfast and tickets to the Birthplace of Country Music museum seal the deal. And if you travel with your dog, this a place that welcomes dogs rather than tolerates them.

The location and view were fantastic. Downtown block from State Street with lots of stores and restaurants, all walkable from the hotel, love it. The staff were all so friendly and made our stay enjoyable. The room was clean, and the window view was awesome, facing the park/street, surprisingly quiet. The price is great and affordable. No continental breakfast, but it has a RoofTop Bar and downstairs Vivian Restaurant serving great breakfast.

The Bristol is one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in for years. Great service, great venue. Don’t miss it!

I grew up in this area and always stay at The Bristol Hotel when I return to visit. It’s beautifully decorated, beds are cozy/comfy, showers are hot and parking is a breeze!! I often eat at Vivian’s, where the staff is friendly & efficient and the food is delicious! I highly recommend Bristol Hotel.

A lovely hotel with kind and welcoming staff. They allow dogs, but keep them on the lower floors which allows those of us with dog allergies to have rooms where dogs have not resided. The rooftop bar was fun and festive - we were not there on a night with live music but know that is on the schedule. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets extra soft. Bristol itself needs revitalizing, but this hotel provides a good start to that revitalization.

This is a lovely hotel with great amenities. The rooftop bar is awesome. The rooms are very comfortable and nicely done. This is our second year staying here and we will definitely be back next year.

Peaceful atmosphere and friendly staff. Enjoyed having the roof top bar on location. The only issue I had was there is a train close by, but that was really the only noise. It’s a quiet town and a quaint hotel.

We travel cross country twice a year and The Bristol is always one of our stops. However, I would choose to stay here as a vacation as well. Top notch location-park your car and walk to multitude of dining options as well as 2 great restaurants in the hotel itself. Awesome rooftop bar. Pet friendly with easily accessible grassy areas, a park across the street and plenty of sidewalks. Parking is easy. Rooms are upscale, beautifully decorated and functional. Beds and sheets are great. Furnishings/rugs are upscale and very comfortable. Quiet, very clean and well maintained property. Lovely, friendly service from front desk, to cleaning staff to restaurant servers. Small well equipped fitness center. Really upscale experience all around at a very good price.

Excellent location, very pleasant and peaceful, and above all the hotel staff were amazing!
