its just a fair hotel
Pros:

bed was good, dinning room well spacious and nicely located safe for the monkeys

Cons:

there were no slippers - even for sale, very small soap pellets, room smelt dust, towels very old.

Value for money, choose plaza you will not be disappointed.
Pros:

The place exceeded my expectations, very peaceful place, and cleanliness was top notch. The staff? Exceptional! The food was also delicious, my mum and baby enjoyed and so did I. I will definitely be back.

Also kudos to Frank for training my baby l, she a swimming expert now haha lol!

Hi, I’m requesting a refund for our booking at Plaza Beach Hotel. We checked in on 2 September and checked out the same day because the actual condition and standard of the property were significantly different from what was advertised on Booking.com. We were extremely disappointed and did not feel the accommodation reflected what we had booked and paid for.
We raised the issue with the hotel immediately and requested a refund, but they refused. Rather than staying, we checked out that same day and found alternative accommodation. We have evidence confirming that we left on the day we arrived, as well as some photos from the property.
As we did not stay for the booked 3 nights and left specifically because of the condition of the accommodation, we would like Booking.com to review this complaint and request a full refund on our behalf. We are happy to provide the evidence we have.

Overall, I had a great stay. I would recommend Plaza Beach Hotel for a work, vacation, or family.
Pros:

I had a very good experience at Plaza Beach Hotel. The hotel is well located right on the beach, and the rooms are spacious with beautiful, clear views of the ocean.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. Breakfast was particularly enjoyable, with a good English breakfast and a nice variety of other options. Dinner was also great—I especially enjoyed the tuna fish, which was always fresh and well prepared.

The hotel also had a good live band, particularly on evenings when there were more guests around, which created a lively and enjoyable atmosphere. I also really enjoyed walking along the beach. It was especially convenient for me because my training venue was only about a 10-minute walk away when using the beach route.

Overall, I had a great stay. I would recommend Plaza Beach Hotel for a work trip, vacation, or family getaway. I saw quite a number of families with children enjoying their stay as well. Most importantly, I think the hotel offers very good value for money, especially compared with some neighboring hotels where you could easily pay almost twice the price for a similar beachside experience.

I would definitely consider staying here again.

Pros:

The staff were courteous and responsive. I was initially assigned a ground-floor room where the humidity was particularly high; however, the hotel promptly accommodated my request to move to a more comfortable room on an upper floor. Their flexibility and customer service were greatly appreciated.

Enjoyable and worth it!
Pros:

The location is perfect: beachfront, near the main road, and taxis are easily available. Breakfast was standard fare, and satisfactory: eggs, bread, cereal, porridge, steamed vegetables, chicken sausages, baked beans, scones, pastries, fresh fruit, and a variety of fresh fruit juices.

Cons:

The geography is a bit confusing. There are short flights of stairs along the corridor that were rather confusing. It can also be a but difficult to navigate for someone on a wheelchair. Disabled guests would do well to make this known so that they can get a room that won't need to be accessed by the short flights of stairs.

Cons:

Staff seemed very uninformed. Most of the times we had to ask a manager. They were also extremely slow and forgetful. We ended up doing some things for ourselves . The bars had shortage of staff. They had to be called from other duties.

While the room was spacious and generally comfortable, the quality of the bedding could be improved. The mattress was not particularly comfortable and did not provide the level of support expected for a restful night's sleep. The pillows were even less satisfactory, as they were overly large, lumpy, and uncomfortable, making it difficult to find a comfortable sleeping position. Given how important sleep quality is to the overall guest experience, upgrading the mattresses and providing a selection of better-quality pillows with varying firmness levels would significantly enhance guests' comfort and overall satisfaction.

Pros:

The room service had acceptable quality. Swimming-pool was nice, large and deep. Location directly on the beach.

Cons:

AC was terrible, internet came and went all the time. The building is very disappointing. The hotel is a USD50 a night kind of operation acting like a luxury-resort. The building does not fit elderly or handicapped guests, Feels like you stay at a Soviet sanatorium. Breakfast very boring, after 2 days, you just sleep in...
