Lovely stay in old town
Pros:

Comfortable bed. Lots of restaurants and cafe close . Castle and cathedral in minutes walk. Small supermarket also close by. Breakfast available on site. Afternoon reception was a fabulous ( did not remember her name) welcome , informative and so very helpful.

Viejito pero muy buena opción

Que el desayuno era en el bar que ellos tiene en la planta baja , con ambientador irrespirable y sin casi opciones para tomar.

The Crusaders
Pros:

This hotel is right in the middle of Ponferrada so very handy for restaurants, the cathedral and the castle. We had a comfortable twin room which was perfect for a one night stay. Friendly staff.

Cons:

The parking was a wee way off but was free so that evened out.

La habitación doble para 2 personas era muy pequeña, apenas nos podiamos mover. Además daba a un patio interior que tenía los tubos extractores funcionando toda la noche. Las camas muy incómodas, con colchones muy básicos, muy complicado dormir...Menos mal que sólo fue una noche.
