Lovely Hotel but could be better
Pros:

Beautiful hotel, right on the beach. This place has so many plus points that it should be getting a totally positive review. However, there are some areas that need addressing by Management, and I have posted a much more detailed review on Expedia. Based on its location and décor this hotel should be a top tier Ngapali Hotel. It is stunning and peaceful.

Main issues are Reception staff; general poor English language skills. Lack of visible General Management with the only 'visible' Manager being Naing, the Food and Beverage Manager. He wants people's opinions and genuinely wants to improve the resort. He is also concerned for his staff to improve which is nice and his staff do try very hard. In my view there needs to be an English language training programme for staff if the Hotel wants European guests rather than just Burmese speaking guests.

Having said all that we would return.

Pros:

Very nice and well maintained facilities. Beautiful place and beach. Staff however is very slow, still needs training in service and english.
English speaking is still very limited. If this can be improved it will be close to perfect.

Pros:

Staff tried hard in general, disturbed to observe some employees cutting grass in the grounds with scissors - wake up call required by the owners here to equip their people with some 21st century tools. Stayed in a pool villa which lacks the finish expecyed at this price level hence poor value for money at $300 per night when I see local people cutting grass with scissors.

Pros:

The extraordinary views, beautiful and extensive beach and quiet!
The staff in the restaurant areas were great! The front desk staff could use more training in assisting tourist on the local sights and restaurants.
