MG Hotel - St. Michael's Cathedral, Qingdao

Staff are very helpful and kind. Breakfast buffet selects are good. Location is good for tourists. Room is clean and quiet but small bath area, no enjoyable window views.

There is a female reception super nice and professional. Would give her a 5 star for that.

요청사항은 잘 들어주셨어요 안쪽에 조용한 방 배정 원했거든요 근데 들어가자마자 담배냄새가 너무 심했는데 밤 늦게 도착해서 그냥 쓰다보니 여행 내내 쓰게됐어요
변경 요청 안 한 제 잘못이긴 하지만 금연 객실 원했는데 담배 쩐내 나는 방 주는 건 좀.. 가져간 짐에 전부 담배 쩐내가 날 정도였어요
그런 방 배정 되는 거 아니면 전 추천합니다

나가면 바로 중산로 보행자거리가 펼쳐지고, 도보 10분 내에 각종 맛집과 주요 관광지가 있음. 객실 내부는 조금 낡은 느낌이지만 청결하게 관리됨. 조식은 매일 바뀌긴 하는데 중국음식이 90%라 취향탈듯. 아침부터 탕수육이나 깐풍기, 마라롱샤 같은거 나오는게 재밌긴 함.

Sitting on the bed for a while, felt ichy. Not comfortable with the bed.

떠날 때는 기념품도 잘 챙겨주셔서 너무 감사했습니다.

다음에 칭다오에 올 때도 무조건 여기서
다시 1박하고자 합니다.

Excellent location, great buffet breakfast.

Staff was really nice and check in and out was easy!

Breakfast buffet was a little disappointing, nobody greeted me in the restaurant and the only staff there was literally asleep at a table in the dark next to the buffet.

Overall the room was extremely clean and cleaned everyday, but there was a used bandage hanging from the curtain. I still say that it was clean because I can see how the bandage could have been missed as it was in a very hidden spot on the curtain.

Overall I highly recommend staying here as I could almost walk to all major attractions in the area.

A internet não funcionou no quarto, eu fiquei nesse hotel os dias do feriado para poder trabalhar que não foi possivel. Meu pacote de internet internacional terminou por conta disso. Solicitei para o hotel para trocar de quarto e não fizeram. Limpeza deixa a desejar.

저렴하며 친절하고 냉장고의 음료가 무료라 놀라웠고 대복도 천주교당 근처고 매일 저녁 수제맥주와 원장맥주를 마실수있어요 조식도 먹을만하고 추천합니다 ㅎㅎ

Great place to stay. Close to rail and subway stations. Zhongshan Rd is closed to cars, so it is easy to walk to the numerous small shops and restaurants. Hongqiao Pier is right down the street.

青島駅から歩いて行けたので助かりました、また、中山路沿いにあるので、食事やコンビニにも困りませんでした。

The rooms were extremely small and old. The reception is shabby as well. Breakfast was not good either. Although it’s buffet, but many trays were empty and not refilled.

Location is great. Very walkable area since car traffic is not allowed around this area. Beach, German street are all very close. We also like the chocolate museum nearby. Lot of food and drink options. You can get all flavors of beer everywhere. Hotel rooms are clean but not much other facilities.

I was aware the hotel was old and that was ok for me but many things were broken and not functional. For example, the door of the cabinet for refrigerator literally fell off. The toilet was wobbling when you sat on it. The wifi never worked even though there appeared to be multiple connection points. The area next to the elevator was cluttered with bottled waters and other stuffs.

On the positive side, the staff were super friendly. The area was busy and fun to walk around at night.
