Great location and value for the price.
Pros:

Busy place so they are obviously doing something right. Regardless of the large contingency of people, we found it a quiet and relaxing stay. Staff was fabulous.

For the price and location definitely worth it.
Pros:

Absolutely loved the breakfast and the woman who worked it on the weekends.

The beds were very comfortable as were the pillows.

As far as the location, it's very easy to get to and mostly quiet. It is not smack in the middle of the town if that is important to you.

Cons:

The opening and closing of everyone's doors in the hallway was incredibly loud.

The cleaning of the room left a little bit to be desired. For example, the coffee pot was incredibly dusty inside and out.

I am not familiar with Midwest culture but the front desk clerks were not super engaging.

It was very homey and comfortable.
Pros:

This is one of the best breakfasts we have had. Food was great! Good selection. Everyone was satisfied.

Cons:

Coffee pot was empty when I went to get coffee, it was in a different area and I think it was kind of hard to monitor for the server person. Maybe 2 airpots of regular coffee in the morning?

Pros:

Check in was simple, staff was friendly and helpful, Room was spacious and clean, bed was comfortable. The continental breakfast was deliciois with hot and cold options

It was ok. Would probably stay elsewhere if we returned to the area

No elevator, wish we would have known there were EV chargers just outside their parking lot, no view of the lake

Met our need well!
Pros:

Great value all around!

Cons:

Suggestion would be to have cereal dispensers rather than expensive individual serving containers. They ended up with an overstock of less desirable cereal and it was difficult to get basic Raisin Bran because that went first, but they had to limit that so they could get rid of the others few people wanted. Dispensers would pay for themselves in a very short period of time since bulk cereal is much less expensive!

Gutes, sauberes, zweckdienliches Hotel am Ortsrand von Detroit Lakes.
Pros:

Gute Lage nähe des Highways, aber dennoch ziemlich ruhig. Sehr freundliches Personal. Wir konnten früher einchecken und Wäsche für wenig Geld im Hotel waschen. Alles war sauber und beim Frühstück gab es richtiges Geschirr aus Keramik, kein Plastikmüll. Das Hotel liegt am Ortsrand.

Cons:

Das Hotel war gut zum Übernachten, hatte aber keinen eigenen Flair. Es ist Teil eines Franchises. Für ein oder zwei Nächte wirklich gut, aber für längere Zeit etwas zu zweckdienlich und nicht gemütlich genug eingerichtet.
