Hotel Sueño Real Rio Celeste

The room is nice and cozy it’s a rustic place. The room was clean a bit cramped but workable. The hotel is like on a small farm there are chickens and rooster, iguanas, lots of butterflies. The road to the river is rocky and when it rains it gets very muddy but this is the charm of a rustic. The staff is amazing

This is a very property and the staff is excellent. We enjoyed our stay and the river tubing was a lot of fun. I would recommend it.

Price vs quality is good

Just one night but it was good, clean and restaurant with included breakfast was a nice touch.

Très bien. Nous avions le déjeuner compris, le service est lent mais c'est très bon. Mais il y a une petite ferme à côté, le coq et la chèvre nous réveille assez tôt, pas besoin de réveil-matin

The property is near the Rio Celeste ( walkable distance) in which you might swim in the river.
Staff is very kind, there is a fridge in the room.

We stayed here so that we could be close to Tenorio Volcano National Park.

The motel was clean and met basic needs. The attached restaurant was good and offered typical Costa Rican fare.

We were not able to take advantage of the tours offered by at the motel but tubing looked like it would be fun.

Great no fuss place close to the local attractions.
It has a nice on-premises restaurant. The staff is friendly and helpful. Highly recommend horseback tours around the property- our family of 4 had a blast crossing the river and riding through the forest.

Le terrain de l'hôtel est sublime avec tous ses oiseaux, le personnel est super gentil, tout est propre, l'air climatisé fonctionne à merveille. Seul le bruit de la rue lorsqu'on est au restaurant est un peu dérangeant mais tout le reste compense allègrement.

Air conditioning broken. Front desk said they would refund our second night so we left 1 day early and booked another hotel. No refund and hotel not responding to us or expedia.

Room was tidy but sparse. All you get is the bare necessities (double bed and bathroom). But, the attached restaurant is inviting and the food was very good. The REAL charm of this place is the beautiful blue water stream a short walk away. Great for swimming, or even picnicking. Just make to time your walk when the grounds keeper isn’t leaf blowing, and blowing, and blowing…

Decent motel style place. Restauraunt okay. Rooms were a bit tight, but clean and served the purpose. Very nice walk down to river for swim in blue river. makes this a gem.

What a great hotel! Friendly staff, delicious restaurant and very clean and comfortable! We booked the tubing tour with them and it was amazing. Many farm animals at the neighbouring property to look at and about a min walk down to the rio celeste! Definitely recommend, we would stay again!

Very close to the river

We spent the first two nights of our trip to Costa Rica here and I couldn’t be happier with our choice. It is a great location to stop at if you’re on your way from Liberia Airport to La Fortuna.

The hotel, staff, property and on site tours were all exceptional! The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable with private entry. We absolutely loved the property with the farm animals and swimming area in the blue waters of Rio Celeste. We did the tubing and horseback riding and both were highlights of our trip. All the staff is friendly and welcoming. Restaurant has good food as well and the complimentary breakfast was tasty. If you have a chance to stay here, do it!
