Lovely and comfortable, although a little expensive for one person.
Pros:

My room was lovely, comfortable and very clean. Nice big shower and a great hair dryer with a socket below the mirror, which often isn't the case.

Cons:

Too many emails from the hotel before my arrival. I was on a business trip and therefore didn't need to hear about upgrades as I'm required to keep costs to a minimum. The room was a little expensive for one night and one person stay. I'm unsure why I was given a family room, when there were probably smaller rooms available, which I assume would have reduced the cost.

Amazing staff and great hotel
Pros:

We arrived early in the hopes of them letting us drop our bags in storage and to freshen up, however they then allowed us to check in early. Additionally we told them it was for our birthday weekend (we stayed on the friday night with one birthday on the Thursday and one on the following monday) and they were exceptionally thoughtful and brought us a small surprise to the room.
Finally, the barman in the hotel was wonderful and gave us a great recommendation for dinner that evening.

Cons:

Slightly far our from centre but we were aware of that when booking

Great spot
Pros:

Nice clean room with everything we needed for a short break. Helpful staff. Good location, short walk into the city centre. Great pub next door. Would be happy to stay here again.
