Hotel Mogay

A nice room in a nice hotel. Youtube on the reply, good bed, slightly small bathroom, excellent breakfast, excellent helpful friendly receptionist.

No problems with the hotel and staff but there was no internet from late at night to early morning during our stay. It's inconvenient that the door from the rooms to the central and breakfast area isn't opened until 07.30, when breakfast is served. Free parking on the street outside or nearby. Excellent show.

I got an excellent welcome. My room was on the top floor. Very comfortable bed and a super shower. Large bathroom.
Room was warm. TV although no English channel. The room was warm without the AC.

I ordered dinner. Well worth eating here if your tired.

We were visiting some local friends and they recommended us the Mogay, we were never there before, top location and the room was amazing, really spacious and clean. Breakfast was good too. Looking for hotel in chantanda, try it!

We were lucky to be here in this hotel and happy for this choice after a long and wild search.of our intended accommodation which failed.

A lesson learned, in finding hotel or a casa in the countryside, we did it through internet. But it was a good decision not to book ahead. We liked the situation as per photos and the scenery nearby presented in their website so we decided and place it in our itinerary. We did visit the place and found out that it was already not presentable and only two persons left which was about to leave. It was a difficult search by the map. High up in the mountain and overlooking the river.

We gave up and decided to look for another. We found this hotel in this charming town of Chantada. We were very comfortable and glad to have it here. We're thankful and lucky.

We stumbled across this hotel by chance and loved It! The double room was enormous with its own balcony overlooking a quiet street. The marble bathroom with a massage jet shower cubicle was bigger than some hotel rooms I've stayed In! There is a separate secured entrance to be used after 11 at night. The staff were extremely helpful and good humoured. The breakfast buffet the following day was great with a steady stream of good coffee! There is only street parking which might put some people off; don't be! This hotel seems very popular with small groups touring the wine region.

We can't express how much we adore Hotel Mogay and the community that surrounds it. We traveled all around Spain for a few months and staying in Chantada at Hotel Mogay was a highlight of our entire trip. The room we stayed in was a perfect size with all of the amenities you could ask for. The showers were very modern and the bed I could of stayed in all day! The family that runs Hotel Mogay are some of the most hospitable people you will meet, stopping to speak with us and ensure our stay was everything we could want. We also had one of our best meals of our travels at their restaurant, A Faragulla. To sum it up, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone passing through this region in Spain. 5 stars!!!
