Friendly welcome, great little hotel with beautiful view - loved it!

Check out was 10:30 AM. Too early.

An ok stay, there wasn’t much bedding but I only discovered this after the receptionist had left. Not bad overall but a bit of a walk up the hill so best for people who like walking.

Et fantastisk hotell, lite, intimt og personlig. Rent og hadde hva vi trengte. Savnet kanskje kjøleskap på rommet, men vi fikk bruke et felles kjøleskap i resepsjonsområdet.
Damen som virket å drive hotellet var superherlig- smilende og blid, og meget serviceinnstilt.
Kort vei å gå til havnen, stranden, togstasjonen og restauranter.

Har har eierne lagt inn så lite innsatts for å drifte hotellet som overhode mulig. Dårlig renhold og generelt dårlig standard. Toalettet hadde avføring fra forrige gjest da vi åpnet det. Aircondition manglet delen der du kan styre retningen på luften. Den begynte også å dryppe kondens over sengen om natten. Generelt dårlig lukt på rom og på hotellet. Ja, det kostet ikke allverden, men selv med pris tatt i betrakting ville jeg styrt unna dette hotellet.

Hôtel idéalement placé à Villefranche.
Bon accueil même si la plage horaire est courte. (16h-19h)

3 nuits passées à l’hôtel Vauban, idéalement placé, tout est accessible à pied et places de parking à proximité. Accueil sympathique de la gérante. Chambres propres mais vieillottes.
Le balcon est appréciable.

Bra läge, mysigt litet hotell

Great location. Great price. Check in was not made clear. I was never sent any code for lockbox. Luckily I decided to just try to open it and it wasn’t locked so I was able to get my key. Room was comfortable and clean but smelled like a bird cage. Maybe bc it had just rained but smelled horrible.

Excellent stay at LE VAUBAN in Villefranche sur mer. Very clean and comfortable. Vallerie is very helpful and friendly. (Ask about the garden shortcut) . This hotel is a perfect location as the buses are excellent.. They leave from Octroi stop 50 yards away opposite the Tourist Information. Bus 15 goes to Nice every 20 minutes. Bus 607 to Monaco every 30 minutes. The hop on hop off red bus for Nice also stops here. You need to download the bus Lignes d'Azur app and can purchase tickets on there. To return to Nice Airport take Bus 15 to Port Lympia ( Nice Port) and from there get the tram to Aeroport. All for €5 euros. Very easy and convenient. The train station is a 15 minute walk and is a bit steep in places. Villefranche is a wonderful base.

We had a “garden” room where you could go sit in the garden outside your door. Nice place. Clean with comfortable bed

Trust me do not stay here. I do not do reviews but I wanted to save others from my experience. Most terrible experience of my trip. Avoid. Trust me.

Nice and little hotel for few guests. Very quiet and clean.

At first glance I wasn’t sure but this hotel really has its priorities right. The bed was huge and so comfortable. And I mean really comfortable! The pillows fluffy and the linen crisp and white. The bathroom is equipped with a fabulous drencher shower. And the piece de resistance the balcony and view out to sea perfect for lazy breakfasts, afternoons with your book or evenings watching the sun set. Checkin was east and staff friendly and responsive. There’s ample parking around the streets or 2 car parks within a minute’s walk. Patisserie with fresh coffee and veg shop 2 minutes away. A few streets back from the sea front so away from the noise but less than a 5 minute walk from all the shops and seafront restaurants. We loved it. Thank you.
