I had a great stay at Mamasan Treehouse and Cabins. The location is super convenient—an easy walk to the beach, as well as plenty of nearby restaurants and bars, which made getting around really easy.

The room was clean and comfortable, with reliable hot water and air conditioning that worked perfectly (a big plus in Tulum). Despite being surrounded by popular beach clubs and nightlife, my room was surprisingly quiet—I couldn’t hear any music or outside noise at night, which made it easy to relax and sleep well.

I didn’t get a chance to try the restaurant during my stay, but they do offer breakfast and lunch on site, which is a nice option to have.

Overall, a great spot if you’re looking for a comfortable, well-located, and peaceful place to stay in the middle of everything.

De hutjes zien er leuk uit en het is er redelijk schoon.

Cons:

Er wordt geadverteerd dat het een rustige oase is in het drukke Tulum. Niets is minder waar. De hutjes zijn uiteraard niet geïsoleerd en dat betekent dat je ieder geluid kunt horen. De hutjes staan naast een stampende discotheek en aggregaat die tot diep in de nacht zoveel lawaai maakten dat we pas om 5 uur ‘s nachts in slaap vielen. Ik heb dit aangekaart bij het hotel en verzocht onze tweede nacht te annuleren. Hoewel de receptie erg vriendelijk is, kwam “het hoofdkantoor” de volgende dag met het antwoord dat we niet konden uitchecken en misschien een andere kamer konden krijgen (waar de herrie niet minder van wordt). Er werd totaal geen begrip getoond voor de situatie. We zijn direct vertrokken en hebben een ander hotel geboekt. Zonde van het geld. Los hiervan: het matras is klein en keihard, de douche geeft lauw water en de klamboe die je tegen de muggen zou moeten beschermen is te klein en zit vol gaten. Geen aanrader dus dit hotel.

The design of the habitations ! Super Original. Taking a bath on top of the trees wow just amazing. Staff were soooo nice. I really recommend it.

Quel séjour inoubliable !
Passer la nuit dans cette bulle au cœur de la mangrove mexicaine a été une expérience absolument magique. S’endormir sous les étoiles, entouré par les sons apaisants de la nature, et se réveiller avec la lumière douce du matin filtrant à travers les palétuviers… un vrai rêve.
Le lieu est à la fois dépaysant, intime et parfaitement intégré à son environnement. Nous avons également été touchés par l’accueil chaleureux et attentionné que nous avons reçu, qui a rendu cette expérience encore plus spéciale.
Une parenthèse hors du temps que je recommande à tous ceux qui cherchent une expérience unique, romantique et ressourçante.

Amazing staff and beautiful rooms
Pros:

Staff were amazing and went above and beyond for my birthday. We stayed for 2 nights and room was beautiful and immaculately clean. Location was perfect for beach clubs. Would definitely recommend!

Cons:

Bit of a walk to the colorful town up top and street gets dark at night.

Mamasan est situé au cœur de la zone hôtelière; tout près de l’océan, dans la jungle. Nous avions le géodésique le plus haut qui donne une vue magnifique au dessus de la jungle. Le personnel est très sympathique et répond très rapidement. Nous sommes rester 5 jours et c’était parfait. Le lieu est magnifique. Je recommande la suite.
