Comfortable room. Good location.
Water from bathroom basin too cold to wash or shave from. We had to boil the kettle to get warm water.
Water from Basin took up to 5 minutes to drain away.
Shower pressure difficult to control as was the temperature control, this was very dangerous and could scald the user.
On return to room one evening the lights in the bathroom didn't work. This took an hour to resolve.
Complained numerous times to reception and the Manager but slow to take action despite making promises. Only the basin drainage problem and the lights were dealt with during our 5 day stay.
Manager promised to see me during our stay but didn't. I think he had no intention of keeping his word.
Head recptionist promised the hotel would write to me but has not.
Help for the customer and keeping promises is Non Existent.
I if wonder the problems were rectified prior to the next guest arriving.
Very unhappy with The hotel and Staff.
Location is always a winner. We stayed in the king suite which is huge, and having a separate lounge means you get more out of the stay. Aor con is very welcome in the hot weather.
Complimentary water in the fridge would be a nice touch, esp in a suite and the tea tray is quite basic for a higher end establishment. Housekeeping could pay mote attention to detail
Grand was lovely for afternoon tea
Upgraded to deluxe bedroom but only had a double bed in not extra large as stated in advert. Drains smelt in bathroom and the shower was hot and cold no power at all. Noise was horrendous till late at night.
You have to to across to another hotel for breakfast.
Avoid room 109 if you dont mind being awake.
Beautiful room. Very comfy and had everything you might need.
We stayed on the upper floor and unfortunately you needed to be very careful to navigate the slight dip in the floor on the corridor. There was a sign to let you know but only from one approah . You could quite easily trip.
Location and good quality for price paid.
Shower wasn’t very good. Didn’t like the check in which was part of the pub/bar

Nice hotel, comfortable and good value. Having own big screen for FA Cup was good.
Don't do breakfast, you need go to different hotel. Paid extra to upgrade, but still not 5 mins before check in time would they allow.

Friendly staff, and in a good location. Room was clean and comfortable
Staff went out of their way especially Amy on Reception! Nothing was too much trouble.
We ordered room service and they had forgotten toast be we had asked for it earlier than scheduled so we did not mention it!! A small error and did not spoil the experience,
