Beautiful Hotel in lovely surroundings!
Pros:

Staff went out of their way to ensure our stay was enjoyable! They were very accommodating about us bringing lots of luggage including bikes and allowed us to drop these off early (and we were able to access the room early too which was an extra bonus). The facilities were lovely and we really enjoyed using the beautiful pool overlooking the mountains. Breakfast was very good, and they were able to cater to dietary requirements well. We really enjoyed our stay in Besalú and have recommended the hotel to friends too!

A modern, comfortable hotel with exceptional staff, located in a charming mediaeval area of town.
Pros:

Room was spacious and air conditioning worked well. Quiet and well-maintained. Highlight were the staff who were really pleasant and helpful before and during the stay. The hotel has been really nicely designed and is in keeping with the old town it is situated in.

Cons:

Nothing - we loved it.

Gorgeous hotel, with amazing staff.
Pros:

This is a really lovely hotel. The staff are amazing. They work so hard to make sure you have a good stay, and in our case to help us get some medication swiftly sorted with a local doctor. The rooms are cool and quiet, the beds really comfy and the shared space welcoming. There was a restaurant next door who were providing evening meals if required on the terrace. The food was delicious, and again, the staff lovely. One of the highlights for us was the pool. It is very welcome during the hot days. Besalu isn't a large town in itself, but very pretty and with a car you can explore further if you want. We were there partially to relax after having moved about a lot, so it totally worked for us.

Cons:

The only tiny thing would have been English tea at breakfast. The coffee was delicious, but it's hard to break the habit of tea in the morning.
