Great location on the other side of the lake with absolutely stunning views from the huge common balcony. Room was functional with well working AC and a fridge. Staff is very nice and boat shuttles to Flores (5 minutes) are provided whenever needed.
Stayed for three nights, but room was never cleaned.
I really liked this hotel. It's in a peaceful location with a great view of Flores island and the forested mountains beyond. The staff are helpful and laid back. There's filtered water and free coffee on the go.
There are blow-up kayaks to rent, not the best quality but they get you about. There are hammocks for hanging out in. There's food and beers available in the restaurant downstairs.
They will pick you up and drop you over to the island then you ask so it's the best of both worlds really.
It's not on the island, so to get there you must take a boat, but it's really no hassle.
My only complaint would be that the food in the restaurant is a bit pricey and limited for vegetarians/vegans. There is a wealth of choice on the island but we were too lazy to make the journey in the evening; on reflection we probably should have.
You can't walk anywhere from the hotel. There are other places nearby but you can only reach them by kayak. You're limited to the hotel building itself or a boat trip to the island. But for a few days stay, it's no hardship.

Ik bleef er drie nachten, wat mogelijk veel is voor de locatie, maar ik heb me alsnog prima vermaakt.
De airco deed prima zijn werk, de hangmat ook. Het restaurant is eenvoudig, maar met heerlijke pancakes met fruit.
De kamer is wat gedateerd, maar alle werkt. Prima bed voor deze prijs.
Fijn dat er een paar engelstalige medewerkers zijn! Ze zijn erg behulpzaam.
Het is niet midden in het drukke centrum van Flores. De locatie is makkelijk voor Flores, de tours, maar ook het museum, uitkijkpunt en strand aan de kant van San Miguel.

Nos llevaban y traía de la isla gratuitamente ( se tardan 5 minutos en la lancha)
Queda al frente de flores, con una linda vista y te recogen en lancha del hotel, nos ayudaron con la reserva del tour y nos guardaron las maletas. La habitación era amplia con aire acondicionado y la cama cómoda.
Las paredes estaban sucias, la puerta del baño no abría bien, las toallas estaban muy manchadas y desgastadas, faltan amenidades como basurera en la
Habitación, las cortinas entra mucha luz y vimos una cucaracha antes de irnos.
La vista al lago. Excelente servicio.
Es importante comunicarle al huésped que el hotel queda al otro lado de la isla , pero que hacen el transportes sin costo.
Located on the calmer side of Flores, which is great for a more relaxed stay.
They offer free boat rides from 7am to 4pm, and after that it’s very cheap (5Q per person).
The room was clean.
Even though they have dorms, the hotel seems more suited for couples, families, and groups, which makes it quieter overall.
The biggest downside is that the rooms do not have proper windows.
The plastic covering does not provide enough soundproofing, so if you’re a light sleeper, earplugs are highly recommended.
