Very comfortable hotel. Lovely surroundings. Both evenings had music which was a bonus. Staff friendly & helpful.
Minor issues: One window didn't shut properly & one blind slightly broken. Otherwise all good.
Great location lovely clean room ,garden was lovely there was a singer in garden in the evening was a great atmosphere
We were kept waiting to check in for hour as cleaners wernt finished wich wasn't a problem as we sat in garden / bar but the lady at reception was rude and had a terrible attitude and not helpful at all !! Our room had air con unit but when asked the lady if we could have remote to turn it on as was very hot and room was above the kitchen she was rude again with her response and didn't allow us to use it
We stay here regularly’ it’s an old building with lots of history, has a lovely garden that is always very well kept. It also a large bonus carpark.
We did have a complaint but it was dealt with very quickly, reception staff were excellent.
Beautiful building and location. Comfortable room and lovely food selection. Friendly and helpful staff.
Nothing
Booked last minute for just one night as visiting family on Hayling and at QA hospital.
Booked a family room for myself and my sister as there weren't any twin rooms available at time of booking.
The room (10) was nice and bright with one double and two single beds. Nice outside roof terrace with double doors onto it (we just opened the doors but didn't venture onto the terrace as there was no furniture or there)
The recruiting staff were very nice and welcoming.
Breakfast, which was included, was very nice with plenty of choice - cereals, yogurts, pastries, toast and all elements of a cooked breakfast available buffet style plus juices and tea/coffee.
The hotel had a very homely geek about it.
We arrived fairly late so didn't go into the lounge area or the bar so can't comment on those.
The garden area looked huge and very welcoming.
Overall I would recommend a stay here, when we booked it was a better rate than the Premier Inn!!
Only a couple of niggles: the blinds on the window in the room let in a lot of light so if you need a dark room I'd suggest bringing an eye mask.
Also it's not particularly sound proof, we could hear music we think from the next room, but it didn't go on too late.
Griendly courteous staff and nice location
Very nice place
Room was a lot bigger than expected.
Clean and very very cozy🥰
Bed was our favourite 🤩
Breakfast good choice. Quiet area. Staff friendly and helpful. Spacious room.
Kettle in room was too big to fill from the tap in bathroom. T.v. not well positioned for watching in bed.
Leider haben die Zimmer keinen Kühlschrank. Wir haben die Unterkunft gebucht um nach Goodwood zu fahren. Abends hatten wir keine Lust noch ein Drink an der Bar zu nehmen.
We’ve stayed here a few times and we always have an enjoyable stay. Easy accessible location with a bonus carpark, lovely well kept gardens.
This time we had a problem with the blinds and the tv in our room. We were only in the room for the evening so told reception in the morning.
This is a nice modest hotel but completely out of line with the luxury price. Room was tiny, though not horrible. Breakfast was about the same as an economy chain. We did not experience dinner as they simply did not serve any (even though we booked in advance by phone). If you need to eat in the evening there is a lovely Thai restaurant you can walk to. Staff were cheerful.
Beautiful building, nice garden, comfortable room and helpful staff
Breakfast was a good, plenty of choice.
Bed was very comfortable and the room had plenty of storage.
Curtains would have been useful as blinds did not keep light out in the morning
