This was one of the worst hotel experiences we've ever had. It would be zero star but the staff can't be blamed for the failings of the hotel. We stayed one night as we had to leave the hotel at 4am to head to the airport. We had an accessible room, the sofa bed was to be made up but it wasn't. I spoke to reception noting the sofa bed was not made up and it was in pieces, not to mention the abandoned sweet wrappers under a section of the sofa. They said that they would sort it ASAP. We went for dinner and, you guessed it nothing was done. We called reception again and they told us housekeeping were on their way. Housekeeping arrived only to tell us that they had told reception earlier in the day that the sofa bed was broken so it couldn't be used. So we were given a room that the staff knew the sofa bed was broken. We called reception 10 times but no answer, we went down and explained the situation. The gentleman on reception noted that the day staff had not mentioned the broken sofa bed. We were given another room, the reception staff took us to the new accessible room and it stank so badly of damp. There must of been a leak at some point the room should not have been rented out. The smell was so bad they moved us to another room, it too smelt of damp but it was getting late so we took it. The plug near the kettle had scorch marks, the bathroom/wet room let water leak out the door so we put towels down. It was one of the worst experiences we've ever had. Never again!
The breakfast was outstanding and the breakfast staff equally so. They were very helpful and kind.
Check in took forever. They couldn't find my reservation even after showing the confirmation email. I was then told that I'd have to pay extra for my son's breakfast because he was over 12 years of age. Nothing in the booking alluded to this. The TV kept turning off on its own and the washroom sink didn't drain because the stopper was broken.
Everything
Everything was fantastic
Very easy to get to terminals. Lovely staff. Comfy room.
La cercanía del aeropuerto con diferentes medios para llegar
Overpriced Taxi On The Morning Of Departure Didn’t Tell Us The Price Till We Got To Heathrow Snd Asked For My Card Earlier Stop Them From Hawking Outside Would Normally Catch The Hoppa Bus
No Chaffeaurs
The shower is good, nice and comfortable bed
Breakfast was pretty bad, a bit hard to get to from the airport, the shuttle bus took half hour despite hotel being in near proximity to the airport
Great location, clean, room with a view of the T2 runway, great staff.
It's a decent Holiday Inn experience. Staff are friendly and helpful, rooms are clean, basic and perfectly acceptable.
There isn't very much to dislike, it does what it says it will do.
Great location
Given a dirty disable toilet room.
The staff on the desk and at breakfast were friendly. Close to Heathrow Airport
I paid extra to have a double room and when I arrived I was told only single beds were available. If there were only single rooms available at the time of booking, this should have been stated as I would have saved money just booking a single room in the first place.
Also, check out was at 12 which is great. However, once it reached 11am, on two occasions, cleaners burst into my room without knocking. This put me completely on edge and I was unable to relax for the hour.
Lovely rooms, convenient to airport, lots of food choice
An automatic service charged being added to everything! We are not fans of this anyway but to be added to a round of drinks with no food is criminal!! And we went to the bar to order so what service were we being charged for? Many people would not have noticed this, as did we until later in the evening. I have never seen a service charge added to drinks only
The staff were excellent- I was so impressed. Everyone was friendly, helpful, polite. Very good food in the restaurant! Clean comfortable, quiet, easy to access from Heathrow (use the citymapper app to take the double check bus! Cheap, easy, and fun)
Nothing!
