Comfortable but basic. The room was hot and dated. Feels like staying at your grandmas house but the rooms have no perso
Pros:

I thought the property was dated & the floors were very creaky and loud. I felt that the style of the rooms were very old and beige and didn’t match the initial photos on the website which were much more athletically pleasing.

Cons:

I didn’t like how dated our room looked and felt it should have better facilities such as a fridge.

Disappointing room. Nothing like the photos.
Pros:

It was comfortable and staff were helpful. Property was tired and dated. Noisy floorboards and very basic amenities.

Cons:

Decor was very beige and old. Nothing like the pictures. Tired aesthetic. Basic and ugly. Cooked Breakfasts are small.

We have stayed here before and will definitely return! In spite of the decor in the room being a bit tired - it’s clean

The location was great, the staff were great .
Pros:

I didn't ask for a breakfast

Cons:

The mattress was so hard that I my hips hurt when laying on my side.
The shower was either boiling or freezing.
The room was small but it served it's purpose.

Comfortable , friendly staff and great location
Pros:

Breakfast excellent could eat as much as wanted good choice of cereals,fruits,preserves and range of hot food.
Lovely to have filter coffee in the bedroom
Size of room was very good and clean . The staff were very friendly and helpful .
Right by the station was a huge bonus and close to everything.

Cons:

The only downside was that the decor was a little bit tired.

The position was excellent and staff were superb

Cons:

Coffee at breakfast was in cafetieres and a bit weak to be honest.
Price seems a bit high for a room that was in need of an update but it was the Bath Half Marathon so I do understand that demand for accommodation might have been high.

Disappointed with room facilities.
Pros:

Breakfast was lovely, room clean and friendly staff. Really easy for train and bus station, and central, near to the centre and the Abbey.

Cons:

The water in the room was scalding hot. The cold tap only produced hot water, so there was only bottled water for drinking, which fortunately was provided. Not possible to have a shower as the water was boiling. The only cold water in the room was via the bath tap so thankfully I managed to have a bath. No soap on the bathroom sink, so I used the fixed shower gel above the shower. Tea and coffee were provided, as well as a packet of choc chip biscuits - but they were open with one missing! I never complain, not ever, but it was pretty poor for the price and importance of such a prominent Bath hotel.
