It was convenient to where we had to be
We heard a motor running all night long that never stopped which kept us awake. Also, there were lights flashing very brightly in the room all night which also kept us awake. I reserved a room with a king size bed but instead got one with 2 queens and both of the couples that reserved rooms after me, got the king size beds.
I brought up a concern about kids not being supervised in the pool. They were rough housing and chucking toys at each other. Including my kids toys. They splashed water all over the place. They were jumping in the pool landing on top of my kids, bring my 5 year old to tears. The front desk person talked to one of the kids but didn’t do anything. So we had to leave the pool as it was not safe. Later the same kids were running all over the hotel up and down the stair cases. I almost got ran over coming out of the elevator after getting our food. We stayed here last year and loved it. After this year never again.
Not the same as it was before Covid
Nice view of the water/pond. Shower was spacious and the pressure was Very strong. The 1 breakfast we ate was good. Good restaurants in walking distance.
I felt the lightning was too dim, the wife disagreed. The room temperature wouldn't go below 74, even the desk setting it to 67 didn't cool it to the 71 we were wanting. The doors close hard/loud.
Liked the decor, particularly the outdoor facilities facing the lake.

Generally very friendly staff, very clean, and comfortable! Easy location off the interstate. Also, the front desk staff was very receptive to one small issue I had.
The only small issue was that I found the housekeeping staff in my room when I specifically stated to this individual that I needed to return for additional belongings. This was well ahead of the designated check out time listed on my receipt for my lodging. While I appreciate the effort to get your work done promptly, I do not appreciate the blatant disregard for my request when I communicated clearly and came back to find you in my room. I realize the hotel staff as a whole is not at fault, none of my valuables or belongings were missing, and when I stopped by front desk to let them know what happened the staff was receptive, apologetic, and professional about my concerns. It won’t keep me front booking this hotel again, but taught me a valuable lesson of being cautious in the future.
