Ansonsten sehr erholsame 3 Tage für mich
Pros:

Das Frühstück war reichlich und gesund. Ich kannte Le Prese bereits von früher. War vor 18 Jahren mal da. Mir gefällt der abgelegene Ort und die wunderbare Landschaft. Das Hotel gefällt mir gut. Man hat einen schönen Blick auf den See.

Cons:

Ich fand die Preise für das Essen überteuert. Beziehungsweise war ich mit dem Nachtessen am letzten Abend nicht zufrieden. Noch halbrohe Kartoffeln und nicht gegartes Gemüse

Sehr wohl gefühlt
Pros:

Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, gemütliche Lokalität, sehr schönes Zimmer und super feines Frühstück sowie Nachtessen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Dieses Hotel werden wir für eine Unterkunft oder auch nur zum Essen in der Region gerne wieder berücksichtigen, es hat uns sehr gut gefallen 👍🏻.

Paradise in Poschiavo
Pros:

The food was amazing.
Everything was fresh, organic and locally produced... even the herbal teas at breakfast..and the yoghurt, bread from two local bakeries, cheese, butter, fruit, jams and eggs.
Dinner likewise, including locally sourced wild game, fungi and chestnuts.

The staff from chef, through waiting staff and chambermaids were highly competent, professional, friendly and multilingual.

The nicest room I've ever stayed in, large, warm and with a great view, a big luxury bath and his and hers washbasins.

The setting at the foot of Val Poschiavo with Lago di Poschiavo to one side and the railway station, to the other is just perfect.(It's more like a tram stop in the street and ten paces takes you to the hotel door.

There's also the fantastic Poschiavo Plus scheme giving free unlimited travel by bus and train throughout Val Poschiavo from the snows at the top of the pass to Tirano in Italy, if you stay two or more nights in participating
accommodation. (Yes - that is the UNESCO world heritage Bernina Express route)

Cons:

Switzerland seems very expensive to British people, but that is not a criticism of the hotel.

The set four course menu offered a wonderful salad buffet course but it wasn't available with the a la carte offering.

Schön am See gelegen zum Spazieren

Gut gebettet im Posquiavo-Tal
Pros:

Das freundliche zweisprachige Personal, das Restaurant mit Garten, das Essen, der Service. Eine zur Reinigung abgegebene Hose bekam ich noch am selben Tag sauber zurück

Cons:

Den sehr hohen Schreibtisch mit einer Art Barhocker davor fand ich unbequem
